WH spox twists herself into knots to avoid calling anti-Semitic protesters ‘extremists’

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre twisted herself into knots to avoid labeling anti-Israel protesters “extremists” as it becomes more obvious by the day that the Democrats have a serious antisemitism problem.

During Monday’s daily press briefing, Fox News reporter Peter Doocy put the regime’s top spox on the spot over whether her boss, President Joe Biden believes protesters who have turned out in great numbers in the streets and on college campuses are “extremists” for their attacks on the Jewish state.

“Does President Biden think the anti-Israel protesters in this country are extremists?” Doocy asked.

“What I can say is, what we’ve been very clear about this when it comes to antisemitism, there is no place. We have to make sure that we speak against it very loud and be very clear about that,” Jean-Pierre replied, saying that it was the infamous 2017 Charlottesville, Virginia incident that spurred Biden to run for president as she glanced at what appeared to be her notes.

“He saw neo-Nazis marching down the streets of Charlottesville with vile, antisemitic, just hatred. and he was very clear then, and he’s very clear now. He’s taken actions against this over the past two years. And he’s continued to be clear. There is no place, no place for this type of vile…and this kind of rhetoric,” she said, failing to answer his question other than to fall back on a narrative that has been invoked constantly by Democrats, most frequently with the very fine people “on both sides” hoax used to falsely smear former President Donald J. Trump.

“We hear you guys though talk about extremists all the time. It is usually about MAGA extremists. So what about these protesters who are making Jewish students feel unsafe on college campuses?” Doocy followed up. “Are they extremists?”

“I have been very, very clear….we are calling out any form of hate, any form of hate. It is not acceptable. It should not be acceptable here, and we are gonna continue to call that out,” the egotistical diversity hire said, ducking and weaving to avoid answering the question about the extremists cheering Hamas terrorists and denouncing the Jewish democracy.

She then resorted to the standard fallback for Democrats and their media stooges, make it about Trump.

“And let me be very clear,” she said. “This is a president that has continued to have that fight in his office, in this administration. You know, when he repealed Trump’s Muslim ban on his very first day in office. That is something that this president did,” she said, rambling on about Biden’s measures to combat, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, and other forms of discrimination, still not answering the question.

“But I’m curious what he thinks?” Doocy asked again after she rambled on.

“But I’m telling you, there’s no place for hate in America. And we condemn any anti-Semitic threat or incident in the strongest terms. And you heard me say at the top, I gave a message to students who are feeling — who are feeling under threat right now,” Jean-Pierre said. “We’re tracking these threats very closely. We are there for them. No student should have to be able to go to class, live on campus in fear…”

Doocy never did get an answer to his question, a common occurrence with the historic first black lesbian immigrant to hold the press secretary’s job.

The shocking degree to which leftists have come out against Israel in the aftermath of the massacre of 1,300 of its citizens in a cowardly sneak terror attack has been an eye-opener and Biden is walking a tightrope to avoid alienating his base before next year’s election with the risk that calling out the Jew-haters could cost him dearly.
