White House changes tune about Biden’s Delaware residence in head scratching flip

The White House has tweaked the narrative as the ongoing discovery of classified materials at President Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home threatens to derail his agenda and dash his hopes for a second term.

With the firestorm building to the point were even Democrats have been forced to speak out about the embarrassing fiasco, questions continue to be raised about why there are no visitor logs for the residence and now the regime has flip-flopped after previously saying that official business was conducted at the house.

On Monday, the White House Counsel’s Office explained that the reason why there are no visitor logs is that Biden’s home was his personal residence.

“Like every President across decades of modern history, his personal residence is personal,” the office said in a statement. “But upon taking office, President Biden restored the norm and tradition of keeping White House visitors logs, including publishing them regularly, after the previous administration ended them.”

However, that completely contradicts previous statements from the White House including former spox Jen Psaki’s remarks last year that Biden could work from anywhere.

“I will note that, while every president can work from anywhere they are because that is how presidencies are equipped, he is traveling to Delaware for the memorial service of a family member. And he will be — that is why he’s traveling there this weekend,” Psaki said during her daily press briefing on February 25, 2022,

“The president has the capacity to make a secure call from anywhere he is, yes,” she added.

Biden’s mouthpieces have repeatedly rebutted criticism over the amount of time that he spends outside of Washington, D.C. – he has spent around 40 percent of his time in office away from the White House – by saying that he works from home.

“You are President no matter where you are. He will conduct his work from wherever he is, on any vacation, on any time he is in Delaware, at Camp David, or wherever he may be spending time with his loved ones. He has secure phone capabilities. He has staff traveling with him,” Psaki said in November 2021.

In September 2022, current spox Karine Jean-Pierre said, “As it relates to trips that he’s made to Delaware: Look, the way we see that is the President could be President anywhere. He can — he can work from the Residence. He can work from the Oval Office. He can work from Delaware. And that is — that is the work — that is what he’s able to do as President of the United States.”

“Presidents of the United States are constantly on the job, regardless of their location – whether they’re on a state visit overseas or just 100 miles from the White House for a short trip to Wilmington, DE,” said deputy White House press secretary Andrew Bates in October 2022.

Some of the classified materials were being stored in a garage where Biden kept his prized 1967 Corvette Stingray which was given to him by his father as a wedding present and was used in his campaign ads.

“Every President is always working, no matter where they are. Right? That’s always how it works….Even as he goes to Delaware or Camp David, he will of course still be working,” Psaki said in August 2021.

Former President Donald J. Trump, whose own residence at Mar-a-Lago was stormed by FBI agents on a mission to confiscate classified material last August, scoffed at the idea that no visitor logs exist for Biden’s Delaware home office.

“The White House just announced that there are no LOGS or information of any kind on visitors to the Wilmington house and flimsy, unlocked, and unsecured, but now very famous, garage. Maybe they are smarter than we think! This is one of seemingly many places where HIGHLY CLASSIFIED documents are stored (in a big pile on the damp floor). Mar-a-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place, and watched over by staff & our great Secret Service. I have INFO on everyone!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
