White House forced to issue nine corrections to Biden’s speech as the President goes into further decline

President Joe Biden delivered such a gaffe-riddled speech to the NAACP this weekend that the White House was forced to issue nine corrections.

The president repeatedly gaffed during the speech despite reading directly from a teleprompter, once again signaling the incredible cognitive decline he’s suffered in the past few years.

The series of gaffes began with him falsely claiming he’d been vice president during the 2020 COVID pandemic.

“And when I was vice president, things were kind of bad during the pandemic, and what happened was Barack said to me, ‘Go to Detroit and help fix it,'” the president said.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing “pandemic” with “recession.”

Next, Biden gaffed while speaking about the lifetime achievement award that the NAACP had decided to gift him.

“Folks, I’m humbled to receive this organization, which defines the character and consequence of what we do,” he said.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing “organization” with award.”

Next, the president gaffed while speaking about the graduating Morehouse College students he’d recently spoken before.

“It was truly inspiresing: over 400 young black men who will do extraordinary things,” he said.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing “inspiresing” with “inspiring.”

Next, the president tried to claim that an adjustment his administration made to the Affordable Care Act has saved families $8,000 a year in premiums, when in reality it’s only saved them $800.

“I protected and expanded the Affordable Care Act, saving millions of families $800,000 in premiums — $8,000 in premiums a year,” he said.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing $8000 with $800.

Next, while boasting of his efforts to reduce the cost of living, the president spoke of landlords trying to keep rent down.

“We’re increasing access to capital to start business and loans to buy homes. We’re cracking down on corporate landlords who keep rents down,” he said.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing “who” with “to.”

Next, the president made a small grammatical error. See if you can spot it below.

“[Trump] not only denies reproductive freedom but worsens the mortality rate for black moms, who are nearly three times more likely to die from pregnancy complications than a white woman,” he said.

Notice how he referred to black moms “who have.” This was a mistake.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing “who have” with “are.”

Next, the president once again screwed up the word insurrectionists.

“[Trump] calls the irrectionists who stormed Capitol Hill ‘patriots.’ He says, if re-elected, he wants, quote, ‘every’ one of them pardoned,” the president said.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing “irrectionists ” with “insurrectionists.”

Next, the president misquoted former President Donald Trump, who in March had warned of a “bloodbath” in the auto industry if Biden is reelected to office.

“Donald Trump has said, if he loses again in November, there will be, quote, ‘bloodshed.’ What in God’s name are we talking about here?” the president said.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing “bloodshed” with “bloodbath.”

And lastly, and quite unbelievably, the president missaid the name of the very organization he was speaking before.

“Earlier this month, I posthumously awarded Medgar Evers the Presidential Medal of Freedom, our nation’s highest civilian honor. His spirit endures. The NAAC spirit endures,” he said.

The White House fixed this gaffe by replacing “NAAC” with “NAACP.”

Responding to these back-to-back gaffes, critics were full of mockery:

Meanwhile, on Sky News, host Danica De Giorgio attributed these gaffes to Biden’s growing “senility.”

“We’ve seen this going on for some time,” she said Tuesday. “It’s the constant fumbles, bumbles, mumbles. If he’s not tripping, he’s slipping. He’s forgetting things. He can’t read his teleprompter. His eyes are straining just to read it. And it’s actually a very sad state of affairs, because if this was your loved one, if this was a family friend or a friend, you would actually have to have a serious conversation with them about care, the next step in their lives, and what that would look like.”

“Yet apparently, this is the leader of the free world who is completely incoherent and making constant gaffes on a weekly basis. And it’s sad that this is happening. And it’s becoming evident he’s being propped up on a daily basis. They’re obviously giving him something to prop him up. But it’s not working, and I don’t know how the Democrats have gone this far without saying we need to replace this man. How can he go around the ring again?” she added.
