The White House trolled its critics after President Joe Biden’s latest shot in his war on the traditional domestic energy industry by touting the praise received by dozens of climate cultists.
On Friday, the most destructive leader in the nation’s history announced a pause on the approval of new Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export facilities in the United States, a move that will cost Americans jobs and as some have suggested, benefit Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
My Administration is pausing pending decisions on new Liquefied Natural Gas exports.
During the pause, we’ll take a hard look at the impacts of exports on costs, energy security, and climate change – the existential threat of our time.
We’re committed to getting this right.

“While MAGA Republicans willfully deny the urgency of the climate crisis, condemning the American people to a dangerous future, my administration will not be complacent,’’ the deeply unpopular Democratic president said in a Friday statement. “We will not cede to special interests. We will heed the calls of young people and frontline communities who are using their voices to demand action from those with the power to act.’’
On Saturday, the regime spiked the ball with its lengthy list of giddy reactions from Green New deal advocates, radical environmentalists, climate doomsday crank Bill McKibben, left-wing actor Mark Ruffalo, global warming gasbag Al Gore, and a gaggle of congressional climate hustlers including Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) and Hamas rape apologist Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) among others without a single one being a part of the mainstream.
In addition to the testimonials from members of what some might be tempted to label as a doomsday cult were links to their posts on X, formerly known as Twitter. Here’s a small sample.
World leaders agreed to transition away from fossil fuels at the COP28 climate negotiations last year and President Biden’s decision today to pause new permits for LNG exports shows that he is taking that pledge seriously. If we want to enhance energy security, create jobs, and…

THIS IS A BIG DEAL! @POTUS @JoeBiden just stood up to the fossil fuel industry in a major way & announced a halt on new LNG export terminals to review the impacts to climate. Thanks also to @Energy @SecGranholm & @alizaidi46 for your leadership! https://t.co/Bz3xPGwmJ2

So many thanks to all who fought so hard for this, and to the president who listened to them pic.twitter.com/ZSJUkW7CdN

For too long, the US has enabled Big Oil and Gas’s get-rich-quick scheme to drive global fossil fuel addiction while raising energy costs at home and fueling climate change. I applaud the Biden admin’s move to protect American communities from pollution and profiteering. https://t.co/mAg3VFLqek

This is an ENORMOUS move by @POTUS to stand up to the fossil fuel industry and protect our environment.
The climate crisis is an existential threat, and we must do all we can to stop it and save our planet and our people. https://t.co/tygiVCI28g

Great move from @POTUS To fail to consider emissions effects would be folly, and probably illegal as well. https://t.co/oNuO7q9hHV

The Biden Admin is stalling the approval of what could become the US’ largest carbon bomb, the CP2 LNG export facility in Louisiana.
This is historic progress for our movement, and especially for those living & organizing in the region.https://t.co/M1s7pKfiqY

This is monumental. This is utterly, utterly, monumental. On this day, January 26, 2024, President Joseph R. Biden took a big step towards banning all new gas exports. This is the most significant move any President has ever made on stopping fossil fuels. (1/13)

Republicans warned of the impact that the president’s move will have on jobs in their states.
Joe Biden’s decree to stop LNG exports is a terrible blow to the state of Ohio. A lot of Ohioans will lose their jobs, and a lot of good wage jobs will never be created.
Many Republicans will criticize this plan and then support Biden’s plan to send $61 billion to Ukraine.
So…

Biden’s decision to freeze LNG exports threatens Texas—and America.
This reckless decision is a gut punch to the hard-working men and women in the energy industry.
It also could cause some countries to rely upon dirty coal as opposed to cleaner burning natural gas.
— Greg Abbott (@GregAbbott_TX) January 26, 2024
Today’s permitting pause is a continuation of Biden’s war on America’s oil and gas industry. This decision will weaken our energy & national security, jeopardize good paying jobs, and threaten the supply of American LNG to our allies overseas.https://t.co/3MiE3P7Sq3

Economic consequences have little meaning to Biden with a big election year sop to the climate crazies and for an added bonus, he gets to stick it to Gov. Abbott as well who dared to challenge him on the border crisis.
