It seems New York Governor Kathy Hochul can’t stop putting her foot in her mouth.
As President Trump made the best of his mandated time in New York City by commanding large, adoring crowds, local Democrats appeared to come unglued. Hochul particularly is no stranger to saying unflattering things about her constituents, and Trump’s massive and energetic rally in deep-blue Bronx evoked another stunning slip from the governor.
“Well I’ll tell you what won’t make a difference at all, Jake,” Hochul began to explain to CNN’s Jake Tapper.
“And that is for Donald Trump to be the ringleader of [indiscernible] and invite all his clowns to a place like the Bronx.”
Whoa!
“New York will never, ever, support Donald Trump for President,” she continued. “We know him better than anyone, and that means we understand what he’s all about. He’s all about himself.”
Hochul then boldly declared New York state’s unwavering support for Joe Biden and attempted to further discredit Trump’s rising support by calling his local events “made-up, fake rallies.”
There’s a lot to unpack in Hochul’s remarks including her suggestion that Trump is somehow beckoning “clowns” to the Bronx.
Here are some of those so-called “clowns” whose comments are going viral on X:
Voters in the Bronx have a message for @AOC…
“Everybody’s here for TRUMP!”
“I am a Democrat — and I belong here.”

This was hardly Hochul’s first round of slinging insults at those she was elected to govern. The NY Governor was forced into a mea culpa earlier this month for suggesting black kids from the Bronx don’t know what a computer is.

Her latest “clowns” remark earned her a whole fresh wave of backlash and scorn on X:
Says the NY clown governor that nobody likes, who is leading her state down a path of destruction. Nice try tho what’s your name?

Looks like she had her own “deplorables” moment which sealed Hillary’s fate in 2016. She also let her racism slip out a little while back. Her team members should tell her to watch her damn mouth. pic.twitter.com/PLoW0KTBjk

The internet never forgets!
How disrespectful and arrogant she is. She seems awfully confident that Biden will win New York. Apparently she has her cheat in place.

Maybe the residents tired of illegals taking up their hotels, schools, and taxes will vote for Trump.
Maybe the Fire and Police Departments who want to be able to do their jobs effectively will vote for Trump.
Maybe the Jews who want to attend college and walk on streets safely…— Juliana Norwood (@juliana_norwood) May 23, 2024
I love watching the cope. This was a genius move by Trump. I’ve never been a big Trump fan, and I’m not from New York, but I’m paying attention. Frankly this is downright energizing. Not just for NY, but for the country. Red wave incoming.

And there you have it New York, aren’t you so proud of your disgusting despicable governor who just called all of you “Clowns”
