Another day, another mandatory correction issued by the ladies of The View.
Their disdain for President Donald Trump and MAGA has driven them to the brink of insanity, as evidenced by the number of corrections the ABC bosses demand they make to avoid any legal issues. See, Trump is known for being litigious, especially when it comes to media personalities and companies that flat-out lie about him and his actions. He doesn’t like being lied about any more than the next guy, which results in scenes like this:

Co-host Sunny Hostin passed a note, which Daily Mail reports came from the show’s producers, to Whoopi Goldberg correcting a statement regarding an alleged use of the “autopen” by Trump. Goldberg flips out, says it was merely a “joke,” and then tears up the note to emphasize her disgust for being held accountable.
“How come you don’t know who this guy is?” Hostin asked about Trump’s pardon of Binance fraudster Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao.
“Because he used an autopen,” Goldberg snarked, bringing up the controversial subject that has plagued the previous president’s administration.
“What the hell? What?” Goldberg asked later, grabbing the note from Hostin. “‘We don’t know if Trump used an autopen to pardon…’ It was a joke!”
“Yes, we don’t know whether Trump used an autopen to pardon-” Hostin, the resident legal expert, pressed.
“Oh, come on!” an exasperated Whoopi shouted, tearing the legal notice to shreds. “Well, I’m sorry. The hardest thing about this job now is that no one understands nuance. You know when you hear a joke, when somebody’s fooling around, when they’re not saying something specific. Especially on this show, I’m very specific when I’m…pointing stuff out. When I’m making jokes, you know when I’m making jokes!”
“This is ridiculous,” the irate co-host added.
