Clearly, in the eyes of the media and Big Tech Orwellian fact checkers, not all “big lies” are the same. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so too is the alleged fib it would appear.
The quickest, most surefire way to get shut down or otherwise censored online today is to repeat the frequent claim made by former President Donald Trump that the 2020 election was stolen from him. The punishment coming with a prerequisite warning that our democracy is under threat by repeating the assertion that there was foul play at hand.
Yet, there is video of failed 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton stating clearly that the 2016 election was stolen from her, without admonishment.
“You can run the best campaign, you can even become the nominee, and you can have the election stolen from you,” the former secretary of state said in the 2019 footage.
Abe Hamadeh, a Republican running for Arizona attorney general, shared the clip of Hillary Clinton’s assertion:

The comment was during the Los Angeles stop of her “Evening with the Clintons” tour with her husband, former President Bill Clinton, as reported at the time by USA Today. The audience can be heard cheering the claim that the 2016 election won by Donald Trump was “stolen.”
The greater irony here is that Clinton referenced special counsel Robert Mueller’s 448-page report on the Russian government’s “sweeping and systematic” interference in the 2016 election at the event to say she feared the same tactics will be “alive and well” in 2020, according to the national newspaper.
Of course, we now know that an attorney linked to her campaign played a pivotal role in launching the so-called Russian collusion that led to Mueller’s investigation.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:

Why is this allowed on Twitter and Trump is not?

Their hypocrisy is beyond brazen. They don’t hide it, they don’t even qualify it, because they see us as their filthy peasants to rule over.
This is how they claim stolen elections, call us Nazis, not wear masks- while screaming at us for doing the same, without skipping a beat. https://t.co/koSSEBigF2

Time for Twitter to ban Hillary for disinformation. https://t.co/e3UEw80Wde
