Wiener says ICE was ‘terrorizing a mother’ while filling in for TSA, but there’s just one problem

Notoriously perverse California state Sen. Scott Wiener is under fire for spreading misinformation about the arrest of an illegal alien.

Earlier this week on Monday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were deployed to a dozen major airports across the country to assist with crowd management and security lines.

A day before this deployment, an illegal alien woman was apprehended at San Francisco International Airport. Her arrest was recorded by leftist bystanders who tried to shame the ICE agents for doing their jobs.

Note what Wiener wrote in the above tweet: “So much for the ‘hey we’re sending ICE to airports to fill in for TSA’ BS.”

The senator tried to suggest in the tweet that the illegal alien woman’s arrest was a consequence of ICE agents being deployed to airports.  However, the deployment occurred AFTER her arrest.

Moreover, according to the Department of Homeland Security, there was a perfectly valid reason for the illegal alien woman’s arrest.

“ICE officers arrested Angelina Lopez-Jimenez and Wendy Godinez-Lopez at the San Francisco International Airport,” DHS explained in a tweet. “These illegal aliens had a final removal order of removal from an immigration judge since 2019.”

“While being escorted to the international terminal for processing, Lopez-Jimenez attempted to flee and resisted law enforcement officers. ICE is working as quickly as possible to repatriate the family unit to their home country of Guatemala,” the tweet continued.

The public meanwhile did not appreciate Wiener’s lies about the illegal alien woman’s arrest.

“Stop lying through your teeth,” one critic angrily tweeted. “This is not a ‘U.S. citizen mom kidnapped by ICE.’ Her name is Angelina Lopez-Jimenez; a Guatemalan illegal with a FINAL deportation order since 2019. She and her daughter were already in custody and being escorted to their flight home to Guatemala when she violently resisted and tried to run. DHS confirmed every detail.”

“This happened Sunday night at SFO; before Trump even sent ICE to help TSA lines. Anyone who fights law enforcement like that after losing in court for seven years IS guilty as hell. Your fake ‘crying daughter kidnapped’ propaganda is disgusting. Court orders > your feelings. Sit down. Drop it and watch them disappear. Facts are brutal,” the raging critic continued.

Wiener is a far-leftist who has a history of pursuing royally messed up policies. Earlier this month, for instance, he raged after the Supreme Court struck down a California state policy forbidding schools from notifying parents if their children come out as gay or trans at school.

“Forcing teachers to out LGBTQ students to their parents puts kids’ lives at risk,” he tweeted. “Some will die. Some will get kicked out & become homeless. Some will be sent to conversion therapy. The choice to come out to one’s parents belongs only to the kid & is no one else’s damn business.”
