Wiener says kids will die if teachers can’t hide LGBTQ status from their parents

Notoriously perverse California state Sen. Scott Wiener is raging upset that the Supreme Court has ruled in favor of parental rights.

The high court ruled Monday against a state policy forbidding schools from notifying parents if their children come out as gay or trans at school.

“Those policies cut out the primary protectors of children’s best interests: their parents,” the court ruled, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The court added that requiring parental notification “promotes child safety by guaranteeing fit parents a role in some of the most consequential decisions in their children’s lives.”

The ruling angered Wiener, a Democrat who’s notorious for pursuing grossly perverted policies designed to expose young children to sexual themes way, way, way beyond their age:

“Forcing teachers to out LGBTQ students to their parents puts kids’ lives at risk,” he tweeted above. “Some will die. Some will get kicked out & become homeless. Some will be sent to conversion therapy. The choice to come out to one’s parents belongs only to the kid & is no one else’s damn business.”

His fierce denunciation of the high court’s ruling prompted massive derision and mockery, with some critics noting that Wiener is the same “pervert” who introduced legislation easing criminal punishment for gay adults who rape kids.

In issuing its ruling, the Supreme Court upheld a lower court ruling from U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez that was made in December.

“When it comes to a student’s change in gender identity, California state policymakers apparently do not trust parents to do the right thing for their child,” Benitez wrote in his ruling.

He added that the state’s no parental notification laws, passed in 2024, “harm the child who needs parental guidance and possibly mental health intervention” and violate parents’ constitutional rights “to care, guide, and make health care decisions for their children.”

Other Republicans and Democrats reacted to the high court’s ruling Monday exactly as you’d expect.

State Republican Party Chairwoman Corrin Rankin said she was “thrilled the Supreme Court told California Democrats what we all know and believe, that parents are not optional, despite them acting as if they were.”

“If a school is making life-changing decisions about your child, you have the right to know,” she added.

Meanwhile, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, a rabid Democrat, said through his spokesperson that he was disappointed with the ruling but will “remain committed to ensuring a safe, welcoming school environment for all students while respecting the crucial role parents play in students’ lives.”
