Women’s basketball star and LGBTQ+ cultural icon Brittney Griner was heckled about being traded by the Biden regime for a notorious arms merchant as the price for springing her from a Russian prison where she was sent after breaking the country’s drug laws and her league and the media is going berserk.
The 32-year-old ladies’ hoops star who has a history of expressing anti-American sentiment was spared the nine years behind bars in Russia, where she had been convicted after being busted at Moscow’s airport smuggling an illegal substance inside of a vape pen, when President Joe Biden agreed to the swap for Viktor Bout aka the “Merchant of Death,” a trade the conservatives criticized at the time for not having included former Marine Paul Whelan who was left to rot in Putin’s prison gulag.
On Saturday, the tattooed black lesbian pothead was confronted by conservative YouTube personality Alex Stein as she was walking through DFW Airport on the day after her team, the Phoenix Mercury lost to the hometown Dallas Wings, and his shouted questions about the lopsided swap triggered the outrage brigades.
“Hey Brit, do you still wanna– do you still wanna boycott America, Brittney?” Stein asks, as he is physically harassed by someone who appears to be with Griner and the team.
Since the @WNBA is writing press releases about me…here is a snippet of my interaction with Brittney Griner today….

An unidentified voice off-camera is heard saying “You’re weird, bro,” drawing a response from Stein. “I’m weird, why? She hates America”
“What about the Merchant of Death, Brit?” Stein asks, referring to Bout, in a snippet of a longer video that he promised to post to his YouTube channel on Sunday morning.
Following the encounter, the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), a league that enjoys widespread media support despite the fact that few sports fans watch it, issued a statement decrying the “inappropriate and unfortunate” actions of the “provocateur,” a term that the media is running with.
“It has come to our attention that this was orchestrated by a social media figure and provocateur,” the league said. “His actions were inappropriate and unfortunate.”

“The safety of Brittney Griner and all WNBA players is our top priority,” the WNBA said without giving any additional details.
The Phoenix Mercury also released a statement on the incident.
“We are reviewing the incident that took place today at the Dallas Airport. The health and well-being of our players and staff are our top priority and we will always take every step within our power to protect player safety,” the team said, also expressing its support for other American hostages abroad, presumably including Whelan who could die in Putin’s prison because he wasn’t a member of a protected demographic (s) that merited action from the Biden administration.

One of Griner’s teammates tweeted, “Player safety while traveling should be at the forefront. People following with cameras saying wild remarks is never acceptable. Excessive harassment. Our team nervously huddled in a corner unsure how to move about. We demand better.”

The mainstream media, a well-oiled propaganda machine that functions much as the press does in a totalitarian country, for example, North Korea, China, or the old Soviet Union, nearly unanimously referred to Stein as a “provocateur” in a seemingly coordinated bit of messaging.

Stein reacted to the coverage, “I can’t believe it’s national news to ask Brittney Griner a couple of tough questions,” he wrote on Twitter with a link to one of the media reports.

One positive that came out of Griner’s trials and tribulations in Russia is that upon her return, she seemed to have developed a newfound appreciation for America, even standing for the National Anthem.

Stein’s asking of a few tough questions hasn’t yet been condemned by the White House but in today’s twisted political environment, it’s hard to rule anything out.
