Woman protesting Winsome Sears urged to put racist sign away before too many see it. Too late…

An older white liberal woman was so reassured by her moral self-righteousness that she couldn’t see that her racism was shining through.

The woman was protesting Winsome Sears, the Republican nominee for governor of Virginia, for her stance against boys using the girls’ bathroom. She held a sign that caught plenty of attention, including from fellow protesters.

“Hey Winsome, If Trans Can’t Share Your Bathroom, Then Blacks Can’t Share My Water Fountain,” the sign read.

The woman was identified online as an activist with the far-left group We of Action (WOFA), and her message was so egregious that a fellow protester whispered into her ear that she was “getting a lot of play on TV right now. Negative.”

Not surprisingly, the woman tried to dismiss her abject racism as “satire.”

Sears would respond later to the woman, posting on X that this is the “tolerant” left that her opponent supports.

“I’m disgusted, but not surprised. This is the ‘tolerant’ left Abigail Spanberger defends,” the GOP nominee wrote. “I’m the sitting Lieutenant Governor, second in command in the former Capitol of the confederate states. I’m an immigrant, a Marine, and above all, a human being. There is no place for this disgusting hatred in our Commonwealth. Anyone who doesn’t condemn this sign is complicit in approving it.”

Social media users, left and right, seemed to agree — here’s a quick sampling of responses, as seen on X:
