A troubling aspect of the violence permeating many cities in America — aside from a tendency for aggressors to repeatedly pummel unconscious victims, often to the point of serious brain injury or death, AND a pattern of bystanders standing idly by recording the vicious assault — is the reality that women are no longer off limits.
Once upon a time in America, striking a woman was considered taboo, but that was then and this is now:

In the troubling footage above, a fight broke out at an apartment complex in Auburn, Ala,. according to WRBL. A black man has the white man pinned to the ground and is pummeling him. At one point, the white man stops resisting as the punches continue to rain down. It is at this point that a female tries to intervene on behalf of the white man. In one motion, the black man scoops her up and flips her, before violently slamming her to the parking lot surface.
As the woman lies there motionless, the assailant returns to the seemingly unconscious man and resumes pummeling him in the face again and again and again, as if he intends to kill him.
The person sharing the video footage said the woman suffered a broken neck, but other reports dispute that claim saying she had a broken collar bone and a dislocated shoulder.
“Auburn Police confirm both victims were transported to area hospitals where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. Investigators have conducted interviews of all involved parties and tell WRBL they take these incidents extremely seriously,” the CBS affiliate reported.
The identity of the black man is known to the Auburn Police Department, according to WTVM.
“The circumstances surrounding the altercation indicate that this is an isolated incident, and that all parties involved were acquainted prior to the incident,” APD said in a statement. “The investigation is ongoing and criminal charges are pending. Videos of this incident have been publicized on social media platforms and have been viewed by Auburn Police for evidentiary value. We encourage anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information pertinent to the investigation to reach out to the Auburn Police Department.”

Very sad. She just reacted like anyone would who saw their loved one being killed.

Honest law law-abiding citizens, like where I live in Arizona, who carry concealed and open changes behavior. A disarmed citizenry is open season to thugs.

Does anyone have any update on this? It’s naive, I know – but I’m hoping and praying against all odds that she is not dead.
This is gone far enough.
And yes, if the races were reversed …

1. Two guys brawling it out. The white guy lost. Black guy was blinded by rage.
2. Poor girlfriend didn’t know what to do.
That’s the observable reality without the context of the fight.
Don’t point fingers yet. It’s not black vs white. Just two dudes.

It’s not about race it’s about bystanders being irresponsible, classic get the clip instead of helping out.
