World Economic Forum invites woman in native dress to blow on panel members in BIZARRE clip

The annual World Economic Forum in Davos set the stage for “Indigenous voices” that left many scratching their heads.

The 2024 WEF ignited a wave of reactions on social media when a ritualistic display prompted questions and rebukes of hypocrisy that could not be ignored.

In explaining how “Indigenous leaders are bringing their knowledge to Davos 2024,” the WEF stated:

As technological progress and cultural shifts accompany deep and complex transformations in the geopolitical and social fabric of the world, it has never been more important to develop solutions for global challenges that are equitable, inclusive and sustainable.

Indigenous voices are thus vital in adding a perspective that prioritizes long-term thinking and human experiences.

In a video, a person performing a ritual appeared to be blowing into her hands and then going to each person seated on the platform to touch their heads and blow on them.

“A few years ago the elites were telling us to wear masks and stay 6 feet apart. Now they’re bringing in a native woman to cough directly in their faces,” Matt Walsh wrote on X, responding to the video clip from the event that even got the attention of Elon Musk.

At a time when virus-paranoid leftists and officials are calling for a return to masking up in the wake of rising COVID numbers, the ritual smacked of hypocrisy to many.

The performance caught in the video understandably set off many social media users.
