World joke: Kamala props up sleeping Joe Biden after he calls her the ‘First Lady’ in Saudi TV mockery skit

Americans are not known to be preoccupied with what the rest of the world may think of us and with President Joe Biden in office that turns out to be a good thing.

While we in the United States may have come to accept the reality that the 79-year-old president’s mental agility isn’t quite what it used to be — at his best, Biden was never mistaken for a sage — it’s fair to say the rest of the world has also taken notice of his angry outbursts, growing habit of flubbing lines and losing his train of thought, and even going off script to say reckless things. All of which makes the fact that Biden holds the single most powerful seat in the world somewhat troubling.

Faced with such a daunting reality, sometimes all you can do is laugh… and that’s precisely what the Saudis are doing. In what is being billed as a Saudi Arabian television skit making the rounds online, Biden is being portrayed as a doddering old fool being led around by a rather masculine looking Vice President Kamala Harris, who’s forced to keep him from wandering off and keeping him on track with frequent whispers in the ear.

Sky News Australia has also been known to ridicule Biden and Harris, with one anchor calling the U.S. president a  “bloke who most probably couldn’t find his way home after dark.”

“Suddenly, the world’s greatest power is in the hands of a slightly dazed bloke who looks like he’s always waking up from heavy anesthesia,” host Alan Jones said last year.

In October, Sky News host Rita Panahi said Biden “needs a retirement home and a bowl of soup.”

But Americans should not feel singled out here, as British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also been the subject of ridicule by the Saudis:
