Are you a soccer fan who would love to get paid to watch every game of the World Cup? Well, you might be in luck!
FOX Sports and TV channel FOX One have teamed up with Indeed to offer one incredible soccer fan the opportunity of a lifetime. The job? Watching all 104 World Cup matches held across North America in Mexico, Canada and the United States. They would be set up in a custom view box in Times Square and receive an eyepopping compensation of $50,000 in exchange for watching every minute of the games from June 11 to July 19.
They will also be asked to create and share World Cup-related content on their social media for the duration of the tournament.
“This isn’t just about finding a sports fan; FOX Sports is looking for a seasoned creator capable of navigating the world’s greatest sporting event with social agility, journalistic integrity, and on-camera charisma. From the first kickoff to the final trophy lift, this person will be the voice of fans throughout the tournament, reporting live from a custom public viewing studio in New York’s Times Square,” the listing reads.
“This FIFA World Cup will be a historic tournament that calls for an equally historic hire,” said President, Marketing, FOX Sports’ Robert Gottlieb. “One engaged applicant will get the job of a lifetime to experience and celebrate every story, every nation and every exhilarating moment that defines the beautiful game.”
For those wanting to apply for the role, Indeed offered some advice on how to be matched with the listing:

Update your skills: Upload your resume and ensure your reporting, journalism, and content creation experience is front and center.
