WSJ obtains previously unpublished photos of Bill Gates with Epstein’s accuser, releases damning report

A previously unpublished photo of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates with one of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers was part of a report on the financier’s ongoing manipulations — years after the sex offender’s conviction.

Clad in a gray jacket with a blue scarf wrapped around her neck, the face of a Polish model was obscured to protect her identity as she stood posing with a grinning Gates. Taken six years after a 2008 conviction, The Wall Street Journal detailed how the now-deceased Epstein himself was behind the photo and others of the model with high-profile figures he used to continue abusing women.

“In March 2014, Jeffery Epstein took his private jet to Seattle to visit Bill Gates at his office. Epstein brought along a Polish model he had met a few months earlier. Dressed in a long gray coat, she posed for a photo with the Microsoft co-founder. Epstein took the picture,” reported the Journal.

The newspaper indicated that at least three other photos existed featuring the billionaire with Epstein accusers that included his posing with a Russian model at the financier’s Manhattan townhouse and the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City.

Additionally, the same Polish model featured in the image with Gates was reportedly photographed alongside former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, former CBS News journalist Charlie Rose, and, among others, director Woody Allen.

The report explained how Epstein was said to use the images of the powerful and connected to lure in more victims as he plied young women with promises of career advancement. The Polish model told the Journal that Epstein said she could earn millions if she agreed to be the mistress to one of his friends, an offer she declined, fleeing home to Poland in 2015.

“My impression is that becoming a mistress was the only one job proposition you were really serious about,” she had written to Epstein. “Meeting Gates or Woody was great — thank you — will never forget it — although nobody hire me just because I have a nice pictures with them.”

Brad Edwards, an attorney representing the woman along with his law firm partner Brittany Henderson, said to the Journal, “Without having legitimate connections to so many high-powered people, Jeffrey Epstein would not have been able to traffic most of these women after 2008.”

Likewise, Henderson said, “He used the powerful people he was intermingling with to further facilitate his sex trafficking scheme, whether those people knew it or not. He was using everyone around him to create this façade of legitimacy.”

A Russian model and Epstein accuser recounted to the newspaper how the financier documented everything, including demanding written thank-you notes if he did something for them so that they could be used as leverage.

“It was almost like he was documenting everything so we can’t go against him,” she said. “If you’re not smiley and positive, he was going to give you a talk, because then you’re acting ungrateful. And those gratitude letters, I’m sure he was using them as just another guarantee that we wouldn’t go against him.”

This included allegations that Epstein forced them to smile as he took nude photographs of the models and filmed them.

When Gates had been confronted on his meetings with Epstein in 2021 during a PBS interview, he told Judy Woodruff, “I said I regretted having those dinners, and there’s nothing, absolutely nothing new on that.”

A spokesperson for Bill Gates told the Journal, “Epstein tried, unsuccessfully, to connect himself to Mr. Gates by any means possible, including spontaneously bringing in people for photos with Bill, whom Bill did not know or interact with further.”

Similarly, Allen offered his own statement and said, “At no time did he ever request I cast anyone in a movie — and I never did it.”

For her part, the Russian model expressed, “After a couple of years in the JE circle, none of us had any legitimate things to add to our résumés, and none of the jobs he promised ever materialized.”
