‘You don’t think he knows what his son is doing?’ Donalds, Bowman throw down over Hunter Biden

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) faced off in a fiery debate on CNN Wednesday over revelations of corruption concerning Hunter Biden with the Democrat openly dismissing them because he isn’t running for the presidency.

Bowman spewed propagandic verbiage that none of the evidence against Hunter Biden matters because he’s “not running for president.” His incendiary rhetoric was vintage Democratic pablum.

The debate was hosted by CNN’s Pamela Brown as the two men from different sides of the political spectrum went at it, discussing gun violence, income inequality, who they’re supporting in 2024, and other issues that included the Hunter Biden scandal. The full debate can be seen below.

Donalds came out in full support of former President Trump which resulted in Bowman accusing him of “endorsing an insurrectionist.”

The Florida Republican responded to the assertion by pointing out that Democrats had also voted to overturn elections. He then pivoted to Hunter Biden.

“You have the president’s brother, the president’s son, they are taking wire payments from people across the globe. Jamaal, I’ve seen some of the documents myself. They are taking these payments. We’ve already documented a million dollars going to Hunter Biden, facilitated with other members of the Biden family,” Donalds claimed.

Bowman laughed and countered with the lame leftist talking point that “Hunter Biden is not running for president.” As if President Biden is not, in reality, playing the starring role in the scandal.

“Stop that, stop that, now you know better than that,” Donalds admonished Bowman.

Bowman nonsensically retorted, “Joe Biden is the president.”

“If Hunter Biden is getting money from Chinese, from people, with Chinese companies? If he’s facilitating the sale of a cobalt mine, to China, while Joe Biden is setting energy policy in the United States, you don’t think that man is compromised? Come on!” Donalds incredulously asked. “You don’t think he knows what his son is doing?”

“You’re talking about Hunter Biden, right now,” Bowman responded, laughing again as if that absolved the president of any wrongdoing.

“Come on! You’re going to sit here, and tell me, he doesn’t know what his son is doing?” Donalds asked him again before Brown redirected the discussion toward Trump and President Biden, right on cue.

On Wednesday, Fox News Digital confirmed that an IRS criminal supervisory agent seeking whistleblower protection claimed the investigation into Hunter Biden is being mishandled by the Biden administration.

A CIA ex-boss also blew the whistle on Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who he testified was the driving force behind the October 2020 letter signed by 51 former intelligence officials claiming that a bombshell story on Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation.

Donalds and Bowman also engaged in an impromptu debate on the Capitol steps concerning presidential candidates this week.

“To the gentleman from New York, man, listen, it’s cool to have two people in my state that could be president. I don’t know about New York,” Donalds quipped.

Bowman laughed at the remark and viciously stated, “Who in your state could be president? Who? DeSantis?! DeSantis doesn’t have a shot. He’s a white nationalist.”

Donalds shot back, replying, “No, he’s not.”
