Celebrities praised former President Donald J. Trump as a “warrior” after he survived an assassination attempt that left him bloodied but unbowed.
The soon-to-be Republican nominee narrowly averted death when a would-be assassin’s bullet grazed his ear during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, a shot that could have been fatal if Trump hadn’t slightly moved his head at the last second.
As he was being rushed away by Secret Service agents, Trump thrust his fist in the air for what has already become one of the most iconic images in American history, a gesture of defiance and perseverance that only further cemented him as a legend and left even the stars in awe.

This is what a Warrior looks like! This is MY guy,” country music superstar Jason Aldean said on Instagram along with the iconic picture of Trump, adding “we are thinking about [you] and praying for you and your family. God has a bigger plan for you my friend and I think we all know what that is by now.”
“My heart goes out to the victims families as well. They are the ones left to pick up the pieces of this cowardly act,” Aldean added.
“You f**k with Trump, you f**k with me,” Kid Rock said in a short video posted to social media.

“Trump gets shot and now I’m trending,” wrote the rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III. He previously predicted that Trump’s “gonna be president again.”
Actor Tim Robbins likened the attempted assassination to his 1992 film “Bob Roberts” about a conservative singer who enters the political realm.
To anyone drawing a parallel between my film Bob Roberts and the attempted assassination of Trump, let’s be clear. What happened yesterday was a real attempt on a presidential candidate’s life.

“To anyone drawing a parallel between my film Bob Roberts and the attempted assassination of Trump, let’s be clear. What happened yesterday was a real attempt on a presidential candidate’s life. Those that are denying the assassination attempt was real are truly in a deranged mindset. A human being was shot yesterday. Another killed. They may not be human beings that you agree with politically but for shame folks. Get over your blind hatred of these people. They are fellow Americans. This collective hatred is killing our souls and consuming whatever is left of our humanity,” wrote “The Shawshank Redemption” star on X.
The shocking near-assassination already shows signs of being a unifying factor for a country that has been divided by Democrats and others for their own benefit and Trump reportedly plans on stressing national unity in his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention this week.
