Pompous Never Trump loon Rick Wilson of the discredited Lincoln Project is being ruthlessly mocked over his really bad Election Day prediction.
In a video published to Periscope on Nov. 4th, a day before the election, he claimed with 101 percent confidence that President-elect Donald Trump would lose the election.
Watch:
Lincoln Project’s @TheRickWilson, Nov. 4, 2024: “Trump’s going to lose. He’s going to lose badly. He’s going to be wrecked. I don’t know what the Electoral College count’s going to be at the end of this, but it’s going to get loud and it’s going to get hard for him.” pic.twitter.com/EnbyQG5N62

“Trump’s going to lose,” Wilson began. “He’s going to lose badly. He’s going to be wrecked. I don’t know what the Electoral College count’s going to be at the end of this, but it’s going to get loud, and it’s going to get hard for him.”
“Their panic is extraordinary. Their events in Georgia and North Carolina are about as well-attended as a Pokémon card-trading convention in asscrack, Alabama. This is a campaign in freefall. It’s really, really f–ked up,” he added.
“You have a campaign ending in chaos, and you have a campaign that was able to deploy 90,000 volunteers to knock on three million doors. Guys, the better campaign is going to win this one,” he concluded.
In fairness, he was right about “the better campaign” winning, since, you know, Trump’s campaign — which was focused on policy — won a resounding victory this Tuesday.
But, of course, he was wrong about everything else, much to the amusement of his many, many, many critics.
“Are you wrecked?” one critic tweeted at him. “You were wrong on everything, you f–king 2 bit loser. Trump is going to the White House, not the big house. Hopefully Trump does to your minions what Biden & his administration has done to Trump and his supporters.”

Hey asshole are you crying? Donald Trump is president. you were wrong again. You were never right fucking idiot.

@TheRickWilson how does it feel to be so wrong? Your take may be the most wildly inaccurate of the election cycle.

Guys like Rick don’t have the pulse of the nation, they have terrible instincts. Often wrong but they continue to speak too confidently. This is how people with authoritarian attributes behave.

How’d that work out for you Rick? Seems your credibility is in shambles. And you have trouble with basic math. And understanding those who disagree with you. That’s just a good start on what’s wrong with you.

How are things going over here? I loved the video of all your inside knowledge about the Trump campaign being in shambles and how “loud” the electoral college votes were going to be. MAGA MAHA, bitch!
— Justin Young (@TheOfficialJY) November 7, 2024
Ha ha ha ha. You wasted 5 years of your life with your delusional cult fantasies. You were wrong about everything. You have no clue what people think or feel. You have some serious mental issues with what you call MAGA. You got destroyed. Worst loss since Mondale.

In response to the mockery, Wilson has chosen to double down.
On Wednesday, for example, he retweeted another Lincoln Project stooge who wrote the following: “Yes, I was wrong about the outcome. But I remain right about what the outcome should have been.”

The post inspired more mockery and pushback.
“Lmao, you’re witnessing the first time a GOP candidate has won the pop vote in 20 years,” one critic tweeted at him. “Your side advocates for election by popular vote only. Now even when the majority tells you that you’re wrong, you think you’re right. Liberalism is a mental disorder.”
Wilson’s also been retweeting garbage like this:
The global economy is about to be fucked up in ways that will have economists and historians studying the aftermath for generations to come. People have no idea. Those with savings and equities are most at risk.
