Country musician and rapper Jelly Roll infuriated MAGA when he mocked President Donald J. Trump during his stint as a guest host on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last week, and the blowback continues.
The artist, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, roasted the president as a “fat pig” who’s lost “most of his f**king marbles,” which may have been immensely satisfying for Kimmel’s audience of clapping leftist seals but could end up being very costly for him professionally.
Amid the scorching fallout over the insults of Trump, the pro-police group Blue Lives Matter said that it has rescinded an invitation to Jelly Roll for the annual Big Blue Bash at Mar-a-Lago, saying that “the man has lost his way.”
Blue Lives Matter announced the firing of the slimmed-down rapper in a Friday social media post.

“We’re DONE. You’re FIRED. On April 26, 2026, we made the mistake of sending a formal invitation to country artist Jelly Roll Roll to perform at this year’s Second Annual Big Blue Bash at Mar-A-Lago, the home of President Trump,” the lengthy X missive began.
According to Blue Lives Matter, “The event is a fundraiser for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that takes care of the families of wounded and fallen officers. Our organization, which owns the largest police news outlet in the world, is running the event. We’ll be joined by the heads of all of the federal law enforcement agencies, sheriffs, police chiefs and supporters.”
“We’re formally withdrawing the invitation for Jelly Roll,” the post read. “As the owner of the company, I’m a proud Christian who actually studies the Bible. I’m a husband and a father of four little girls.”
“And what I saw last week with this self-absorbed ‘artist’ bashing President Trump and Conservatives was not a man who walks in the footsteps of Jesus Christ – it was a man desperately seeking attention and relevancy from the very Godless crowd that has categorically rejected his preaching, the post continued.

“The man has lost his way. I don’t hate him. I actually genuinely pity him,” Blue Lives Matter wrote. “As a guy who used to be well over 300 pounds, I know how much it sucks being the brunt of people’s jokes. Some men struggle their entire lives not just with weight – but with shame and a desire to be socially accepted.”
Jelly Roll has dropped a massive amount of weight and once tipped the scales at more than 500 pounds. He reportedly is now at a svelte 250-265 pounds.
According to the post, this year’s event will be superhero-themed and will feature “Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk), Dean Cain (Superman) and Kevin Sorbo (Hercules),” the account said.
“What you did wasn’t strong or in love. It wasn’t the actions of a man. It was the actions of a little boy seeking the approval of man. I’d encourage you to check your heart, brother. Don’t let the ways of this world lead you astray,” the Blue Lives Matter post read.
Fellow country music star John Rich suggested to MAGA influencer Benny Johnson that Jelly Roll should have known that there would be steep consequences for going on the attack against Trump.
“He knows how this works, OK? He knows who the audience is,” he told Johnson, according to Fox News. “And so I have to think he really believes every single word he said, or he wouldn’t have said it.”
“Because you know when you make statements that are that hardcore and to a large extent counteractive to the presentation you’ve been making – you do understand in country music that half or more of your audience may disown you,” Rich continued.
“They may turn their back on you. They may stop listening to you. They may turn you off. But you make the statement anyway,” he added.
The Big Blue Bash is slated to be held on November 17 at Trump’s South Florida home and resort.
