Fox News host Howard Kurtz was very blunt, informing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that he will lose his lawsuit with Google’s YouTube because he allegedly spreads misinformation.

YouTube scrubbed the Democratic presidential contender’s anti-vaccine videos because the platform claims that they are full of misinformation, free speech be damned
Kurtz stated on Sunday that RFK Jr. will lose because YouTube is a private platform that can do whatever it sees fit even though it violates the First Amendment right to free speech. He says he doesn’t like it or agree with it but that is the reality of the situation. That viewpoint remains to be seen as the lawsuit makes its way through the legal system.
Kennedy is accusing Google of infringing on his free speech rights. According to Bloomberg Law, the suit also claims that the Biden administration is working with tech companies to censor him as well as other vaccine and COVID skeptics.
“Good luck with that. You’re going to lose,” Kurtz proclaimed.
In RFK Jr.’s lawsuit against Google and YouTube, I hope he subpoenas all their emails to uncover the specific identities of all the individuals that are responsible for censoring himself and others. If anyone from the government is involved, it becomes a First Amendment issue.

He noted that Google and YouTube “can set whatever standards they want” as private companies, and went on to contend that Kennedy has provided “absolutely no proof” that Biden is attempting to silence him.
Kurtz is obviously no fan of Kennedy’s. He excoriated the longshot Democrat’s “long history of misinformation.”
Despite that stance, Kurtz does not like the “suppression” coming from Big Tech.
“Why not flag such material with a warning and links to reputable sites?” Kurtz asked. “That’s a far better free speech approach.”

Kennedy’s lawsuit was filed last Wednesday.
He is alleging that a number of videos featuring his interviews and speeches were removed by the platform in violation of his First Amendment rights and is predicting that “it will continue to do so throughout the presidential campaign, especially as the primary elections get closer.”
His speech at Saint Anselm College and his popular interviews with Jordan Peterson and Joe Rogan are being removed from the platform, according to the Washington Examiner.
“While we do allow content with educational, documentary, scientific or artistic context, such as news reports, the content we removed from this channel was raw footage and did not provide sufficient context,” YouTube wrote to Kennedy after removing his videos.

“This complaint concerns the freedom of speech and the extraordinary steps the United States government has taken under the leadership of Joe Biden to silence people it does not want Americans to hear,” the suit asserts. “Mr. Kennedy is not the only victim of this censorship campaign, which is unprecedented in American history. But he is a high-profile victim, especially since he is now challenging President Biden for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.”
Kennedy is requesting a jury trial and injunctive relief to stop YouTube from continuing to remove his videos.
