‘You’re lazy!’ Hispanic man feuds with Black Chicago resident for telling him to ‘go home’

There was a time in America recently when telling an alleged illegal immigrant to “go home” was considered a racist remark by those who “hate brown people,” but that was before the Great Bussing Escapade.

Democrat-run urban areas like Chicago and New York are getting a firsthand taste of the consequences of sanctuary policies courtesy of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, who responded to millions of foreign nationals invading his state via its border with Mexico by bussing illegal immigrants north.

In Chicago, a sanctuary city where more than 30,000 migrants have reportedly been bussed since August 2022, tensions are extremely high as residents push back on city officials for using local funding to accommodate the new arrivals.

In a video making the rounds online, a black woman can be heard telling a Hispanic man identified as an illegal immigrant, “Go home! Go back across the [unintelligible]. Go home!”

The man fires back, “No more money for you. You’re lazy!”

It’s not clear when the meeting took place, who the individuals are, or what their immigration status is, but the scene captures the growing frustration playing out in the Windy City. Mayor Brandon Johnson said back in December that the cost of supporting the illegal immigrants was approaching $300 million for the year and he announced that the city would shift $95 million in federal COVID relief funds to help with the crisis.

The incident certainly spurred a lot of interest on social media.. here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from X:
