The beloved restaurant chain Cracker Barrel won the internet following a disastrous attempt to rebrand itself.
It wasn’t long ago that Cracker Barrel leaders were being ripped to shreds for trying to remake the southern-based restaurant known for its down-home and folksy feel into something bland and soulless. The attempt to sterilize Cracker Barrel was seen by many as part of the left’s widespread attack against all things traditional and Americana.
Revelations that Cracker Barrel had become steeped in divisive DEI initiatives confirmed it true, fueling the backlash that eventually pressured Cracker Barrel execs to correct course.
On Wednesday, it appeared Cracker Barrel had still learned its lesson with a response to a cheeky post about the White House East Wing remodel.
“You probably don’t want us anywhere near a remodel,” the X account for Cracker Barrel replied.

Hahaha! You guys figured it out!
Admitting your mistakes and moving on, making a meme of yourself is totally endearing.
