‘Zero is a very low number’: Elon Musk takes interest in New England district maps

X owner Elon Musk has taken notice of a bizarre electoral makeup taking place in New England.

Vice President JD Vance took to X to post about the six states that comprise New England and Republican-to-representative ratio.

Look:

“This is really something. New England’s six states vote about 40 percent Republican, and have literally zero republican representatives in Congress,” Vance said of the graphics.

“Zero is a very low number,” Musk responded.

He shared a separate post that further illustrated the absurdity of the region’s lack of GOP representation.

“See all this red in New England? You know how many Congressional seats are held by Democrats? 21. How many are held by Republicans? Zero. Don’t talk to us about gerrymandering when this is what Democrats do,” the original poster wrote of the ocean of red in New England.

“Given that the census counts all persons, NOT just all citizens, for purposes of determining the number of House seats, and the disproportionate number of non-citizens in New England, there are technically a negative number of Republicans elected, as seats were taken from red parts of the country,” Musk said.
