During her tenure as President Joe Biden’s top spox, Karine Jean-Pierre has conjured some real doozies in defense of her boss, but she really outdid herself on Friday.
With it no longer being possible to simply ignore the flailing octogenarian’s age no matter how much propaganda Biden’s media stooges pump out, the regime’s gaslighting diversity hire put her own unique spin on the president’s advancing senility by serving up a witty line.
“How does the president plan to convince the American people over the next year that 80 is not too old for someone who’s running for reelection,” asked a reporter who was actually lowballing Biden’s age. He will be 81 in November.
“Eighty’s the new 40, didn’t you hear?” quipped Jean-Pierre.

“You know, I get asked this question about once a week, maybe twice a week, I don’t know, I’ve lost track,” she said “This is a president, if you think about it – in 2019, he got the same criticism, in 2020, he got the same criticism, in 2022, he got the same criticism. And every time he beats the naysayers.”
“Every time he does above and beyond and makes history in doing that others are not able… others are not able to do,” she added, not giving any specifics on who the “others” are that she referred to.
“You look at his record, you look how he’s been able to bring both sides together, to get some really important things done. That matters,” Jean-Pierre said, completely dodging the question.
What Biden’s spokesperson wouldn’t readily acknowledge are two recent major media polls, one from The Wall Street Journal, and another from CNN showing that unlike the White House and its stable of media propagandists, real Americans aren’t sold on the idea that the mentally misfiring oldster is fit for the rigors of another four-year term.
Jean-Pierre herself pulled the plug on the malfunctioning leader last weekend, cutting him off while reporters were still asking questions during a disastrous news conference with the international press in Vietnam.

There is also the matter that one of the most venerable of all Beltway scribes has called for Biden to shuffle off into retirement.
In a recent piece that caused a stir, Washington Post senior columnist David Ignatius called for Biden and his laughingstock veep Kamala Harris to drop out of the running or risk losing to the resilient Donald J. Trump.
Another bad omen for the ancient Biden is that Democrats are whispering behind his back that he’s “too old” to run again, according to MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Scarborough.

“Mika and I, everybody, we talk to, every political discussion, it talks a lot about Trump, but when it comes to Joe Biden, people say, ‘Man, he’s too old to run isn’t he? I mean…he’s not really gonna run…,” Scarborough said.
“Every discussion,” he added. “When I say every discussion, I don’t mean 99% of the discussions — every discussion,” he emphasized, adding that even MSNBC co-host Reverend Al Sharpton is “hearing it as well.”
Unfortunately for Democrats, they aren’t going to be able to put Humpty Dumpty back together again in time to stave off a reckoning unless they pull the plug on their malfunctioning leader and do it soon.
