Now that the assassination attempt on presumptive Republican nominee Donald J. Trump has failed, Americans should be heartened to know that the FBI is on the case.
Trump narrowly avoided having his name etched into the history books alongside presidents John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln when he was narrowly missed by an assassin’s bullet that grazed his ear, leaving him bloodied but still on the playing field much to the chagrin of his enemies.
The inexplicable failures of the Secret Service are obvious but now the job falls to the FBI to conduct the investigation, an agency whose brand is at an all-time low with many believing that it now functions as the Democratic party’s secret police.

“This evening, we had what we are calling an assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump. It’s still an active crime scene,” said Kevin Rojek, FBI special agent in charge of the agency’s Pittsburgh field office at a press conference, saying that the probe could take months.
“The FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office leading the investigation into the bloody assassination attempt on President Trump also originally led the investigation of Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings and was also involved in the probe of Jim Biden’s shady Americore deal,” noted investigative journalist Paul Sperry.
“We will continue to support this investigation with the full resources of the FBI, alongside our partners at the U.S. Secret Service and state and local law enforcement,” the Bureau said in a statement.

The same bureau that investigated the Las Vegas shooting and the January 6th pipe bombs is now investigating the attempted assassination of Trump.
This is also the same bureau that raided Mar-a-Lago.

Unfortunately for the Bureau which long had near-universal respect from Americans, the ship has sailed and it’s likely not coming back for an agency that is now widely seen as being thoroughly polluted by politics.
