With the election growing larger in the windshield, the legacy media is hard at work electioneering — this arguably being the REAL election interference in America today.
Case in point, ABC News reporter Martha Raddatz was doing man on the street interviews in Wisconsin, or in this case a woman on the street, and the so-called journalist just couldn’t keep her fat thumb off the scale.
“Like Pennsylvania and Michigan, Wisconsin is critical for Harris. Four years ago, Biden carried Wisconsin by just under 21,000 votes, the closest margin of victory of the election,” Raddatz said. “While our polls show support from black voters has swung 12 points in Harris’ favor… Melody Davy has not bought in. Trump’s rhetoric has clearly had an effect on her in an astonishing way.”
After asking Davy if she has decided who she was voting for, the woman replied, “Honestly? No. I’m leaning towards Trump.”
Raddatz presses her on why that is and Davey mentioned Harris essentially stealing Trump’s no tax on tips proposal and brought up the controversy over the Democrat “lying about her heritage.”
For a black woman in Kenosha “Trump’s rhetoric has clearly had an effect on her in an astonishing way.” When she cited her reasons for supporting Trump, ABC’s @MarthaRaddatz corrected her, ruing: “There was no convincing her otherwise.” #ThisWeek pic.twitter.com/QJAMj780sJ

The latter assertion prompted Raddatz to defend Harris, telling a black woman who said she does not believe the presumptive Democratic nominee is black, “She’s always identified as black.”
(The vice president’s mother is from India and her father is Jamaican.)
“Well, I think that’s something we can definitely agree to disagree on and there was no convincing her otherwise,” Raddatz then confessed, having failed to draw the woman away from Trump.
Social media users were stricken by the Raddatz’ determination to shape the woman’s thought process and by the condescension on display.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
Media is out there campaigning for Harris.

Didn’t know it was a reporters job to dissuade voters…

Aren’t white women supposed to stop trying to convince black women of anything and just shut up and listen?
lol.
Democrats hate smart blacks who think for themselves. I think the only reason she included the interview is for motivation.

Why the fuck would a “reporter” be trying to “convince” a person to vote a particular way? I know, I know, crying @martharaddatz is not a reporter, she’s a political propagandist.

How condescending of @MarthaRaddatz
You may have well just said:
“Tragically, there was no convincing this woefully ignorant woman of how wrong she is even after WE told her the correct answer”— Burrito Queen (@Burrito_Queen7) August 18, 2024
It’s not a reporter’s job to convince the people what they should think.

Notice how leftist journalists think it’s their duty to inform people of what they should be thinking.
