A letter from the National Archives to Republican Senators Chuck Grassley (Iowa) and Ron Johnson (Wis.) reveals that an additional nine boxes of documents were seized from the Boston office of President Joe Biden’s personal attorney, Patrick Moore, but have yet to be reviewed.
While it had been previously reported that, prior to the discovery of classified documents at the Penn Biden Center, Moore had shipped documents to his Boston office, the Archives had not publicly disclosed the number of boxes taken, according to Fox News.

In response to the senators’ Feb. 24 letter requesting to know how and when the archives were made aware of the transported documents, Acting Archivist of the United States Debra Steidel Wall revealed that the agency learned they had been moved to Boston on Nov. 3, 2022 — five days before the midterm elections.
“When NARA [National Archives and Records Administration] contacted President Biden’s personal counsel on November 3, 2022, to arrange to pick up boxes from the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C., they informed NARA that Mr. Moore had moved other boxes from the Penn Biden Center to Mr. Moore’s law firm in Boston,” Wall wrote.
The Department of Justice’s Office of Inspector General was notified of the move by the Archives on Nov. 4, and, the day after the midterms — Nov. 9 — the documents were retrieved and secured in the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston.
“NARA staff retrieved nine boxes from Mr. Moore’s Boston office,” Wall stated.
Whether the boxes contain classified materials is unknown, as they have sat, unreviewed and collecting dust, since November.
“NARA has not reviewed the contents of the boxes found at Mr. Moore’s Boston office,” Wall’s Tuesday response to the senators confirms.
As BizPac Review has reported, the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement is a think tank in Washington, D.C. where Biden kept a private office that he used while vice president during the Obama administration.
Classified documents were found among personal papers as lawyers for Biden were reportedly cleaning out the Penn Biden office.
“The documents were not the subject of any previous request or inquiry by the Archives,” White House special counsel Richard Sauber said in a statement at the time. “Since that discovery, the President’s personal attorneys have cooperated with the Archives and the Department of Justice in process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives.”

Not long after, more classified documents were famously discovered in the garage of Biden’s Delaware home.

Facing mounting pressure in the wake of the scandal, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Robert Hur as special counsel and tasked him with investigating the President’s potential mishandling of classified materials.

That was in January, and three months later, we learn that nine boxes that were moved from the Penn Biden Center have sat untouched.
It’s enough to make Twitter explode.
Are you kidding me? Can someone just put Tucker on this task? Maybe he can find the truth. https://t.co/S0LUqTGrHn

“Accountability NOW!!!” demanded one angry user.
“I’m so sick of this administration,” fumed another. “They’re destroying our justice system.”
“Biden’s boxes of documents are beginning to stink like a kettle of fish left out in the summer sun,” noted a third. “There is a lot we aren’t being told.”
And a fourth spoke for many when they noted the stark difference between the treatment of Biden’s document debacle and the way former President Donald Trump was treated following the unprecedented FBI raid of his Mar-a-Lago estate.
“If they were moved ahead a search, that’s even worse,” the user said of the nine boxes of documents. “Why has he not been arrested? Trump would have been!”
