Activist tears down, stomps on Target ‘Pride’ sign as boycott costs ‘woke’ retailer billions

Target customers have been speaking with their wallets and pocketbooks as a growing boycott of the retail giant over its promotion of transgenderism and marketing of homosexuality to children is hitting the company where it hurts with one individual taking out his disgust on a “Pride” display in one of the stores that was captured on video.

In the video, the man, who has been identified as 24-year-old activist and” far-right internet personality” Ethan Schmidt, is seen walking down the main aisle when he comes across the rainbow-colored display, hitting the sign, then briefly examining it before taking it down, tossing it on the floor and then stepping on it for good measure.

“What’s wrong with you?” a woman is heard asking as the man says that it’s “disgusting” and “devil worship” as he walks off before the 19-second clip ends.

The short video comes as the Minneapolis-based corporation is being made to pay dearly for its “woke” evangelizing on behalf of the very special demographic, losing a reported $9 billion in market value over the past week as outrage spreads over the offensive merchandise that includes “tuck friendly” women’s swimsuits with “extra crotch coverage” for dudes to conceal their male genitalia as well as items that are designed by a proud Satanist.

Target’s woes are the result of a long-overdue backlash against the corporate saturation of the culture with transgenderism, a lifestyle that fairly or unfairly, has come to be associated with pedophilia as a result of the sexualizing of children by groomers in classrooms and at drag queen events where men dressed as woman lewdly and seductively prance in front of impressionable youngsters.

The tipping point was Bud Light’s partnering with trans TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney, a marketing catastrophe that has done long-term and possibly irreparable damage to the once-popular brand which is being shunned by beer drinkers to the extent that it can’t even be given away.

In another video from a Target store, patriotic artist Scott LoBaido asks why there aren’t any Memorial Day displays that honor the sacrifice of American military members who paid the ultimate price.

“Memorial Day weekend, where is the display supporting and showing homage to the men and women of the military? There’s nothing!” he said in the short clip reportedly taken at a Staten Island location that has since gone viral and perfectly sums up the public frustration with the “woke” direction of the company.

Target responded by holding an “emergency” meeting and relocating or removing some of the offensive merchandise in some stores, moving it to less visible areas, and reportedly dumping the items made by Abprallen, the UK company associated with the devil-worshipping transgender designer.

“For more than a decade, Target has offered an assortment of products aimed at celebrating Pride Month. Since introducing this year’s collection, we’ve experienced threats impacting our team members’ sense of safety and well-being while at work,” the company wrote in a statement this week.

“Given these volatile circumstances, we are making adjustments to our plans, including removing items that have been at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior. Our focus now is on moving forward with our continuing commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community and standing with them as we celebrate Pride Month and throughout the year,” the statement read.
