Adam Schiff and DCCC Chairman on swanky Paris balcony to show how concerned they are about US

President Joe Biden has reported his concern that the “soul of the nation” is at risk from conservatives promoting an America First agenda, but while his divisive actions have contradicted his claims to be a unifying “president of all Americans,” his party recently showed how America Last they truly are with a campaign tour—across Europe.

As many Americans have had to make lifestyle changes in order to manage the havoc being wrought on the economy by the president’s failing policies, even cutting back on necessities like healthcare and food, the elites have carried on with business as usual.

Thumbing their noses at their constituents while members of Congress are meant to be in their districts representing the people who elected them, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chairman Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney (D-N.Y.) were living it up abroad on a tour of Europe to raise cash from Democrats living abroad.

Shane Goldmacher of The New York Times followed up on the trip reported by Punchbowl News with screenshots of some invitations that included a soirée in Paris on Oct. 1 and another in Geneva, Switzerland on Oct. 3.

Any suggestion that the events were strictly business was torpedoed by Nathaniel Soule, the chief of staff to Republican New York Assemblyman Mike Lawler who is running against Maloney. Soule shared a video of the Democratic lawmakers living it up on a balcony overlooking the Seine River.

”Here’s even video of [Maloney] and Schiff on a balcony in Paris sipping wine and eating hot d’oeuvres,” the chief of staff captioned the clip.

Lawler also reacted to the report of the Democrats’ trip overseas to schmooze, posting a picture of Maloney at the “fundraising jaunt” after writing, ”While [Maloney] was galavanting around the globe to raise money to re-elect socialists and keep [House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)] in power, I’ve been speaking directly to voters across the district every day since May. No one should be surprised when Sean loses on November 8th.”

In addition to taking ritzy trips abroad to see to the needs of the donor class, Maloney has recently come under fire for alleged misuse of campaign finances as Federal Election Commission filings had found the openly gay congressman’s office had spent more than $7,000 for personal trainer Erick Ramos to work out with Maloney’s husband, Randy Florke.

Maloney’s campaign deflected ethics concerns over the alleged misuse of funds as “blatant homophobia and another baseless attack on a person of color who worked for Rep. Maloney.”

Similarly, DCCC spokesperson Chris Taylor defended the congressmen raising money in Europe by attacking Republicans and told Fox News Digital, ”Chairman Maloney has been on a 10 city, 10 day fundraising swing raising millions of dollars for candidates who will help stop MAGA Republicans who want to pass a national abortion ban from gaining control of Congress.”
