Scandal-plagued Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin posted a video to Instagram on Tuesday where they revealed to their children, and subsequently the rest of the world, that they are expecting another child this fall. This would make seven children in total for the family.
“After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall,” Hilaria captioned the video. ”
We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise. I’m sharing with you the moment we told the kids—as you can see, they are super excited! Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times,” she added. “I’ve missed you during my break from social media…I’m back and looking forward to continuing with you this wild journey that we call ‘life.’ Our love to you and your loved ones.”

On March 4, Hilaria posted a photo that announced she was taking a break from social media. This didn’t last long, of course, as the family was overjoyed to announce their new addition.

Earlier this month, Alec Baldwin was slammed for claiming that deceased “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins had a hand in her own death.
Baldwin deflected blame for the shooting that resulted in Hutchins’ death onto the victim herself, saying that she was “the one that asked the gun be pointed at her” according to a summary by New York Post’s Maureen Callahan.
“In jaw-dropping court documents filed on Friday morning, Baldwin says she’s the one that asked the gun be pointed at her; that the production was a smooth, well-oiled machine; that her widower, Matthew, has inexplicably gone from amenable to vengeful — and oh, how confusing and upsetting this is to Baldwin; and that hey, no matter what, Baldwin’s contract indemnifies him for any damages,” read the opinion piece.
This defense, such as it is, appears to contradict an earlier statement from Baldwin in which he claimed he “would never point a gun at anyone.”
Social media reactions to the news were largely negative, as the weight of Hutchins’ death still weighs heavily on people’s minds whenever they think about Baldwin:

Why isn’t he in prison?
Someone died on set while he was executive producer and neglected safety concerns.

Hopefully he teaches him gun safety at an early age instead of just saying “guns are bad, etc etc” so that the kid doesn’t accidentally shoot someone when he/she handles one some day.
