The host of Russia’s “60 Minutes,” Evgeny Popov, went off-script Tuesday to call for “the people of the United States to change the regime” and reinstate former President Donald Trump, calling him a “partner” of Russia.
“It’s time for us, our people, to call on the people of the United States to change the regime in the U.S. early, and to again help our partner, Trump, to become president,” he urged.
The statement comes on the heels of President Joe Biden’s message for the people of Russia to remove Russian President Vladimir Putin from power.
“A dictator bent on rebuilding an empire will never erase the people’s love for liberty. Brutality will never grind down the will to be free. Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia, for free people refuse to live in a world of hopelessness and darkness,” Biden remarked during his speech in Poland. “We will have a different future, a brighter future rooted in democracy and principle, hope and light, of decency and dignity, of freedom and possibilities.”
“For God’s sake, this man cannot remain in power!” Biden concluded.
These remarks prompted the White House to go into damage control mode, where it seems like they spend most of their time, clarifying “the president’s point.”
“The President’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region,” said a White House official in a statement to Fox News Digital after the speech. “He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia, or regime change.”
As the clip hit social media, the left was quick to pounce, believing that this validated every conspiracy out there about the former president and Russia:
Very good catch. Help again. Curious???🧐

Not just “to help our partner Trump become President” but “to AGAIN help…” Sounds to me like an admission that they helped him become President the first time around. And an OPEN acknowledgement that Trump is THEIR “partner.” How is it that MAGAs never see/hear any of this?

Though it seems that there are at least a few sane people out there:
It also comes just after Biden said that Putin should not be the leader of Russia. This is just a petty autocrat tit-for-tat.

Americans try and do a regime change every 4 years in the USA, Russia should try it…

And how exactly do the Russian people make that happen ?? They can’t even change their tyrant. 🙄
