President Joe Biden and his administration are facing a number of crises, not that you would know it based on the president’s actions.
After addressing the nation late last week about the need for gun control following a pair of recent mass shootings — Democrats see the solution here being to disarm law-abiding Americans — Biden took off for a relaxing weekend at his beach home in Delaware. A weekend that was briefly interrupted when the pilot of a small plane unwittingly flew into restricted airspace, resulting in the Secret Service whisking the Bidens away to a nearby firehouse — the apparent plan in the event of a suspect threat from the air is to load the commander in chief into the presidential limousine and head for the facility.
But order was soon restored and not long afterward, a photo appeared online of what looked to be the 79-year-old president toting a couple of bags as he headed for the beach with Secret Service agents in tow. It’s difficult to confirm IF the figure in the grainy photo is indeed Biden, but it certainly appears to be.
The Republican Party couldn’t help but take notice that while Biden allegedly frolics at the beach, Americans are struggling to cope with the conditions that define his administration. First and foremost on that list is the price of gas, which is reaching record highs. In some parts of California, a gallon of gas is nearing $10. Inflation continues to rob American families, who are paying more and more for basics like groceries.
There is also the baby formula crisis which is very much still prevalent, with Bloomberg News reporting that the shortage “continued to worsen last week despite actions from the Biden administration to ease constraints,” noting that out-of-stock rates “climbed to 74% nationally for the week ending May 28.”
Babies are starving. Families can’t afford gas. The border is open.

And then there’s the open border with Mexico, which is treated as little more than an afterthought by the media. The illegal immigrant population in America soared 10 percent under Biden to an estimated 11.6 million people, according to reports. And the numbers are likely much higher than reported.
Speaking of the media, can you just image if this was Donald Trump taking a weekend off under current circumstances to go to the beach?
The irony here being that for some Americans, they don’t believe Biden is really running things anyway so why not go to the beach. Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
They were PISSED when Trump was golfing. Where are they now?

@GerryCallahan Your missing the point, the real problem is that he thinks he’s at the White House while this picture is being taken.

Now we understand why the baby formula shortage started months ago and took so long to take action.

Border also stocked with formula!

Might as well be, he’s not in charge of anything.

We suffer and he goes to the beach!

He’s not running the country anyways.
