Amazon has gone to hell and evidently likes it there, rolling out a new animated series that celebrates Lucifer and demons while portraying God and angels as merciless tyrants.
The series “Hazbin Hotel” has jumped from YouTube to Amazon who one day before premiering the hellish production announced a deal with Christian filmmakers. A second season for the show has already been confirmed.
“Hazbin Hotel is an adult animated series that is set to debut Friday on Amazon Prime Video. The series, which comes from indie powerhouse A24, follows the character Charlie Morningstar, the daughter of Lucifer and the reigning ‘princess of Hell,'” Breitbart reported.
“Something of a rebel, Charlie hatches a plan to solve Hell’s overpopulation problem by sending damned souls to Heaven. She is helped by her friend ‘Vaggie’ and a former porn star,” the media outlet added.
A new children’s show coming out Prime twists the creation story to make God the enemy and Satan the hero.
Satan “only wants to give humanity wisdom” and is merely “misunderstood.”

“Hazbin Hotel” is billed by Amazon as an adult animated musical comedy. It is rife with adulation of Hell and sexual content. The series gained massive popularity after debuting in 2019 on YouTube.
“Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom,” Digital Spy writes.

“After a yearly extermination imposed by angels, she opens a hotel in the hopes that patrons will be ‘checking out’ into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner, Vaggie, and their first test subject, adult film star Angel Dust, stick by her side. When a powerful entity known as the ‘Radio Demon’ reaches out to assist Charlie in her endeavours, her crazy dream is given a chance to become reality,” the synopsis for the series states.
“As shared by Prime Video on their Facebook account, Hazbin Hotel is rated R and is an ‘animated musical comedy set in Hell.’ The Parents Guide on IMBd shares that there are multiple sexual references, strong violence (such as bombs, genocide, explosions, guns), alcohol and drug use, and profanity throughout,” FanSided reported.

Amazon Studios evidently believes in giving equal time to heaven and hell in its scheduling.
“Amazon MGM Studios announced Wednesday it will be producing faith-based entertainment by teaming up with the recently formed The Wonder Project, led by Jesus Revolution co-director Jon Erwin,” Breitbart noted.
“The production deal already has its first project — an upcoming Prime Video series called House of David that will dramatize the rise to power of King David of Israel,” the outlet wrote.
