‘Anyone surprised?’ Leftist billionaire Epstein associate reportedly backing Talarico

Democrat Texas Senate hopeful James Talarico’s campaign is being backed by a familiar name, leftist billionaire Reid Hoffman, a former associate of the notorious dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The Lone Star State lawmaker has Republicans fearful that Democrats could actually win the seat, with tens of millions being poured into the closely watched race against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who has been endorsed by President Donald J. Trump.

The New York Post reported on a $10 million check that was donated to the pro-Talarico super PAC Lone Star Rising in June after the candidate beat out ghetto trash-talking Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) in the March primary.

The paper cited FEC filings as the basis for its report.

While it pales in comparison to the GOP money, the at least $11.5 million from Hoffman has a serious stench given his past associations with Epstein, a fiendish sex trafficker of underage girls and reputed blackmailer of the rich and powerful.

Hoffman, a co-founder of the networking platform LinkedIn, has a history of donating to leftist politicians and causes, including disgraced former President Joe Biden. He also funded crackpot columnist E. Jean Carroll’s civil lawsuit against Trump.

He has a history with Epstein, including visiting Little Saint James, the depraved pedophile’s private island in the Virgin Islands, which, as legend has it, was the site of wild sexual shenanigans involving minors.

Known as “pedo island” and “orgy island” by the locals, the steamy tropical paradise was irresistible to those who were lured there by Epstein.

“Jeffrey has exquisite taste in people (myself excepted),” Hoffman wrote in a September 2014 email, “in which the financier connected him with Hardeep Singh Puri, then India’s ambassador to the United Nations and currently the country’s oil minister,” according to the New York Post.

“Other emails disclosed that Hoffman told Epstein on Christmas Eve 2014 that he’d mailed gifts that included a surfer statue for the money manager’s Little St. James Island and ice cream “either for yourself or for ‘the girls,’” the paper reported.

Hoffman has expressed regret over the association with Epstein. In 2023, he told The Wall Street Journal, “It gnaws at me that, by lending my association, I helped his reputation, and thus delayed justice for his survivors.”

The donations could be a public relations problem for the 37-year-old Talarico, who has assailed his opponent over an “Epstein-style sweetheart deal” by Paxton’s office for a guilty plea from Waco lawyer Adam Dean Hoffman, who was charged with sexually abusing a child, a felony.

Talarico has also decried the influence of billionaires in the Texas race, one that could determine which party controls the U.S. Senate for the remainder of Trump’s second term.

“The Epstein Class has no place in Texas,” Talarico has stated. A self-proclaimed Christian, the candidate should practice what he preaches.
