AOC cites ‘burdens of capitalism’ for declining US birth rates, says more immigration is the answer

The best sign that the bulk of the 4-5 million illegal immigrants who have invaded the southern border with Mexico during President Biden’s reign are NOT Caucasian can be found in a ringing endorsement from AOC.

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., exposed her self-avowed socialist beliefs in citing “the burdens of capitalism,” explaining in an Instagram post that young Americans are not procreating and her answer to the declining birth rates in the United States is immigration — this coming from the cabal that regularly conflates legal and illegal immigration.

“There are quite a few countries that are really struggling because young people, under the burdens of capitalism and living in a society that is increasingly concentrating wealth among the rich, we’re not having kids. Or we’re not having kids at the same rate,” Ocasio-Cortez said, pushing the perquisite neo-Marxist class warfare narrative.

She repeated the stale talking points from immigration activists that the net gains from illegal immigration outweigh any cost — though little effort is made to determine just what those costs are on social infrastructures such as education, health care, and housing.

“And we actually need immigrant populations to help balance things out,” the Democrat said. “We can’t continue to fund social security, Medicare, all of this stuff without immigrants. And it’s always been that way. Don’t act like this is some new trend or anything like that.”

The U.S. Census Bureau has reported that births in the United States have remained “broadly stable,” but Fox News noted that annual births have fallen off from roughly 4.1 million births in 1990 to 3.7 million births in 2019.

A Migration Policy Institute analysis of Census Bureau data shows that the number of immigrants that make up a percentage of the U.S. population have been rising since 1970 — this being a byproduct of Sen. Ted Kennedy’s Immigration Reform Act of 1965, legislation that is widely seen as the beginning of the Democratic Party campaign to artificially alter voter demographics in America, moving away from a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant majority population.

While it gets virtually no media attention, the U.S. takes in around 1 million legal immigrants every year, this being in addition to the invasion on the southern border.

The response of the day to Ocasio-Cortez may have come from Life News, which tweeted: “There would be more kids if you’d stop killing them in abortions.”

At the same time, social media users couldn’t help but notice that AOC was recording her message with a smartphone and wearing a set of “crazy expensive Air Pods Pro.”
