AOC gives ‘shout out’ to all Twitter workers who ‘deserved so much better’, Musk does not let it slide

Billionaire Twitter CEO Elon Musk has been doing some serious housecleaning over at the blue bird headquarters, but he has found time to troll the histrionic liberals panicking over the end of the app.

Let’s start with Musk’s favorite low-hanging fruit, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D- N.Y.,  who encouraged people to follow her on other social media platforms after hearing that “the odds of Twitter breaking in the near future are very high.”

She then tweeted that the employees of Twitter “deserved so much better” than… something?

Musk responded with a two-word zinger: “You’re welcome.”

It didn’t take her very long to assert that somehow, taxing the rich even more might have prevented Twitter from maybe experiencing issues? Not sure how AOC accomplished this Olympic-level leap in logic, but one can only hope she stretched first:

Despite much doom-saying from the left, however, Musk himself tweeted that Twitter just hit an all-time high in usage.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy asked Musk to do a “space” with him to help him and others understand why people are saying that the death of Twitter is imminent. Musk’s response was incredibly unbothered.

“What do people mean when they say Twitter is gonna shut down? Doesn’t it kinda run itself? I feel like engineers are for changes not to just keep it running? I also don’t know anything. Hey [Musk] wanna do a Twitter space with me? I’m confused,” Portnoy tweeted.

It seems highly unlikely that Musk would waste tens of billions of dollars just to let a company die, and if he has enough time to mess with trolls on Twitter, the company probably isn’t in as bad a shape as the Chicken Littles would have you believe.
