Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is eyeing better odds in 2028 as presidential predictions have her passing a potential contender.
According to online prediction market PolyMarket, AOC is now enjoying a lead over California Governor Gavin Newsom, amid a surge in the popularity of DSA candidates and socialism.

“BREAKING: AOC surges ahead of Gavin Newsom in the 2028 presidential odds for the first time, as democratic socialism expands its national reach. 11% chance AOC takes the White House,” the company wrote, alongside a graphic showing the distance between the two potential candidates closing the gap between them over the last year.
However, this also comes as a new CNN/SSRS poll indicates that Ocasio-Cortez is seeing a decrease in popularity among young people, who would likely make up a large portion of her voting base if she did run in 2028.
“Only 28% of voters in the 18-34 bracket give her a favorable rating,” The New York Post reported. “Her numbers are worse among politically vital independents, where she scores just 22%, according to data reported by Puck News.”
“And there is more bad news when it comes to her overall favorability rating, which sits at just 26% with a 36% unfavorable rating. This puts her behind New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who enjoys 30% favorability and 35% unfavorability,” BizPac Review wrote.

I would take AOC over Gavin. She is merely a well-intentioned idiot. Gavin is hopelessly corrupt to the point of being evil.

Man if this is the Democrats… JD Vance is going to be a shoe-in. Why do they keep making it easy on the GOP. Seriously, I never voted GOP until they went so far left over the last decade. What’s their solution? Go farther left… Jesus Christ.

Neither AOC or Newsom have a shot at the Presidential nomination. The Democrat nominee will be Sen. Mark Kelly it’s already a done deal. That’s who Obama wanted in 24

Won’t happen. First debate she’s in it’ll become apparent how weak her understanding of real issues and solutions is
