AOC uses Hunter Biden laptop story hearing to screech about LibsofTikTok: ‘I don’t want to date you’

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went off on an unhinged rant during a House Oversight Committee hearing addressing Twitter’s censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story, specifically attacking “Libs of TikTok” for exposing Boston Children’s Hospital and its transgender surgeries performed on minors.

The New York congresswoman was bizarrely intent on smearing and defaming Libs of TikTok during the session, trying to tie the account to bomb threats against hospitals that provide transgender surgeries to minors.

Libs of TikTok wasted no time in responding to Ocasio-Cortez, “AOC isn’t mad that children are being chemically and surgically castrated. She’s just mad you found out.”

She also warned the Democratic Socialist about the definition of defamation as well as reminding the leftist that she has no interest in dating her.

The CEO of the Babylon Bee, Seth Dillon, tweeted, “The great irony here is that @AOC is lying. Libs of TikTok has simply reported the facts about what these hospitals have said about their own services. It’s all documented. But this is what they do — they use misinformation to smear you as being a source of it.”

Ocasio-Cortez’s attack on Libs of TikTok was seemingly meant to deflect from the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story by Twitter. It didn’t work.

During the hearing, the leftist asked an ex-Twitter executive, “Are you familiar with the account ‘Libs of TikTok?’”

The former executive responded that she had heard of the account and then Ocasio-Cortez asked the ex-head of censorship at Twitter, Yoel Roth if he had heard of the account. He said he had.

“Are you aware that from August 11th to August 16th, that account posted false information about Boston Children’s Hospital, claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children?” she asked Roth.

Roth answered that he was aware of it.

“And are you aware this lie was then circulated by other prominent far-right influencers?” Ocasio-Cortez asked.

Roth responded, “Yes.”

“And are you aware that all these claims, which I have reiterated were false, culminated in real-life harassment and ultimately a bomb threat to the Boston Children’s Hospital?” she asked Roth.

“Yes, I am aware,” he responded.

“And this account is still on that platform today, isn’t it?” Ocasio-Cortez further asked.

“Regrettably, yes it is,” Roth replied.

“Despite inspiring a bomb threat due to the rightwing incitement of violence against trans-Americans in this country because they cannot let go of this obsession with fixating violence and inciting violence against trans and LGBT people in addition to immigrants, in addition to women of color. This is the party that can’t pick on anyone their own size. And they are trying to coopt an entire social media platform and use the power of this committee and of Congress in order to pursue a political agenda,” she raged, while pointing her finger all over the place.
