As “Black Monday” trended and a senior economic advisor abandoned ship at the White House, former President Donald Trump landed a devastating blow on his rival’s mum campaign.
Heading into Monday morning reports that fail-safes were triggered in Japan to prevent panic selling also led to brokerage crashes and errors on the heels of poor job numbers in July that had sparked Friday selloffs. Reading the ticker tea leaves, Trump capitalized on the hashtag “KamalaCrash” as his campaign released an ad featuring Vice President Kamala Harris praising her boss’s economic policies.
Amounting to nearly a minute, the supercut of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee touting “Bidenomics is working,” began with the message, “Kamala Harris owns Bidenomics.”
“It’s a term we’re very proud of, I must tell you,” she said at one point while another clip featured the vice president expressing, “All of this is part of our blueprint together for what America can be. This is Bidenomics.”

Owning the current administration’s policies as she sought to carry the globalist standard into her own four-year term, neither President Joe Biden nor Harris had issued a statement on the market at the time of this post.
The silence prompted Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton (R) to issue a demand of the Democrat to prove herself up to the job she was auditioning for as he wrote on X, “Vice President Harris must immediately–without a script–explain her economic policies. If she can’t answer a single question, she can’t handle the job.”
Stephen Miller, America First Legal founder and senior adviser to Trump, raised the stakes as he reacted to the senator’s post with his own that read, “Kamala must hold a press conference or resign. If she can’t answer a single question about an economic emergency she can’t be VP or POTUS.”

Meanwhile, Harris was expected to join President Joe Biden for a meeting with his national security team in the Situation Room in anticipation of an attack on Israel from Iran.
At the same time, Biden marked the departure of American Rescue Plan coordinator and former National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling whom he boasted helped to deliver “economic relief to cities and counties across the country, protected millions of union pensions, made the largest-ever federal investment in public safety, and kept thousands of small business afloat.”
Sperling, the president suggested, helped “execute a rescue plan that has led to one of the most equitable and resilient economic recoveries ever.”
Cotton further ripped the administration as he wrote, “Biden’s campaign was an ’emperor has no clothes’ moment. Everyone knew. Kamala’s candidacy is the same thing. Everyone–and I mean everyone–knows she can’t handle fixing the economy, inflation, or Iran. She can’t even answer a *single question* without a script.”
“How can Kamala Harris serve as president if she can’t speak without a script?” he posited. “This would be a repeat of the Biden farce, but worse. At least Biden is in the middle of the Democratic Party. Kamala is at the far left, even more extreme than Bernie Sanders.”

Summing up his own economic successes that went largely ignored by corporate media because of the impact the COVID response had, Trump boiled down the difference between his policies and Harris in a readily marketable slogan, “TRUMP CASH vs. KAMALA CRASH!”
