Ashli Babbitt’s mom arrested after tussle with foul-mouthed leftist who trashed her daughter

The mother of Ashli Babbitt, the Trump supporter who was cold-bloodedly gunned down inside of the U.S. Capitol during the so-called “insurrection” on January 6, 2021, was arrested after mixing it up with a foul-mouthed leftist who insulted her dead daughter.

Micki Witthoeft was participating in a Memorial Day march outside of the special Washington, D.C. jail where the Biden regime’s J6 political prisoners are being held when she confronted a counter-protester who was shouting profanities and slogans into a megaphone, including “F**k Ashli Babbitt!”

The leftist who was identified as Brianne Chapman aka Anarchy Princess was live-streaming the event when the two crossed paths with the 58-year-old Witthoeft who is seen in video footage walking up behind the troublemaker and giving her a shove as she brayed “Terrorists coming through your neighborhood! Ashli Babbitt’s mom, domestic terrorist! Nazis incoming! Insurrectionist losers!”

The encounter was captured by documentarian Ford Fischer who posted the video to Twitter.

Witthoeft would later corner Chapman who beat a cowardly retreat to where she could be protected by police outside the walls of the prison and snatched away her megaphone.

After a video of the encounter was posted online, Witthoeft was tracked down by police who arrested her on Tuesday evening, with the leftist website The Daily Beast reporting that she was “taken into custody just after 6:45 p.m. She was surrounded by officers and handcuffed before being walked into a waiting police van.”

Hugh Carew of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Public Information Office told the outlet, “58-year-old Michelle Witthoeft, of Spring Valley, CA, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Destruction of Property.”

It’s not the first time that Witthoeft has been arrested. She was taken into custody by U.S. Capitol Police in January when she was protesting the second anniversary of her daughter’s death.

Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran who had traveled to the nation’s capital to protest the results of the 2020 election on the fateful day, was shot by a black Capitol Police officer as she was trying to climb through a window in the building which was briefly occupied by demonstrators.

Lieutenant Michael Byrd who busted a cap into an unarmed woman who posed no violent threat, was cleared of any wrongdoing in a shooting that many have described as a murder and has been given celebrity treatment by the media.
