Audacity to be a hypocrite: Obama spotted boarding Ashton Kutcher’s private jet in LA

Former President Barack Obama was spotted on Thursday boarding a private jet in Los Angeles that is believed to be owned or chartered by actor Ashton Kutcher.

Obama, who many believe may have more influence than is known in the policies that shape the Biden administration, is enjoying the good life, whether it’s enjoying himself at his 29-acre estate on Martha’s Vineyard or jetting around the world to vacation in one fabulous hot spot or another.

And while he is quick to lecture Americans about climate change, it seems Obama reserves the audacity to be a hypocrite.

The former president was photographed boarding the plane at Van Nuys airport early in the evening with various members of his security detail, according to the Daily Mail. The British tabloid noted that Obama — whose net worth is somewhere around $70 million — has a history of taking advantage of his many friendships with celebrities for transportation needs, having used Steven Spielberg’s jet in the past.

It’s not clear why Obama was in LA, but his two daughters, Sasha and Malia, live in Southern California and he may have been visiting them.

Back in September, he made headlines while visiting his girls when his Secret Service detail parked themselves in a disabled person parking spot for two hours while Obama dined at West Los Angeles’ pricey Hamasaku sushi restaurant with Sasha and Malia.

As for Kutcher, Obama and the A-list actor go way back. You may or may not recall the creepy video he participated in around the time of Obama’s first inauguration. Standing alongside Demi Moore, Kutcher repeated the line, “I pledge to be a servant to our president and all mankind, because together we can; together we are and together we will be the change that we seek.”
