Author suing Melania Trump pushing for her to testify about Epstein under oath

The “gossip” author who claimed to be “threatened” by Melania Trump over Jeffrey Epstein accusations says he’s looking forward to President Donald Trump and the first lady being questioned under oath.

In a lawsuit launched by Michael Wolff, he alleges that Melania Trump started a “calculated campaign to destroy his reputation and livelihood” over efforts to stop his forthcoming book that alleges ties between Epstein and the first lady.

Wolff’s book and retaliation lawsuit against the Trumps come after viral allegations against Melania Trump involving Jeffrey Epstein were retracted in August.

Mrs. Trump’s letter to Wolff on October 15th accused the author of making “false, defamatory and lewd statements,” claiming the journalist made “extremely salacious” allegations that reached tens of millions of people, the Daily Mail reported. Her lawyers reportedly demanded that he stop slandering the first lady or face a $1B lawsuit.

Wolff, however, is doubling down and claims he wants Donald and Melania Trump to be questioned under oath.

Wolff’s latest claims made it to X, where it received a lot of backlash:
