Bar owner inundated with death threats over free beer for helping ICE

The owner of an Idaho bar that made headlines for an offer of free beer to patrons who assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in finding and deporting illegal aliens says he’s been getting death threats.

Leftists exploded in rage over the Old State Saloon’s promotion that was announced last month, an irresistible bonus for thirsty beer drinkers who want to do their part in helping President Donald J. Trump and his administration carry out the tough new immigration policies that are necessary to get rid of the unwelcome foreigners, many of them violent criminals.

“ALERT: Anyone who helps ICE identify and ultimately deport an illegal from Idaho gets FREE BEER FOR ONE MONTH at Old State Saloon!” The Eagle, Idaho establishment said in a Nov. 29 X post that was shared by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which welcomed the assistance.

“At Old State Saloon, we really aren’t strangers to speaking out boldly about conservative Christian values and truth and putting the truth out there,” owner Mark Fitzpatrick told Fox News Digital.

Fitzpatrick added that speaking in a world filled with “deception” and “evil” causes people to get “really upset” while he was describing the angry reaction by some to the post, which has drawn more than 8 million views.

“What liberals want to do is they attack you,” he told the outlet. “They go on attack, and they start calling you names.”

The owner said that he has received “disgusting” feedback in the form of voicemails and messages, including threats to his family and to burn down the saloon.

“People are just outright saying I should die for this,” Fitzpatrick said. “It’s really, really despicable.”

Fitzpatrick told Fox News Digital that he was inspired by the policies of disgraced former President Joe Biden, which he described as a “complete disaster” that incentivized “some of the worst of the worst people in the world to come into this country.”

But the threats aren’t going to deter him, with the patriotic bar owner telling Fox News Digital that the negativity only makes him want to “double down.”

In another new promotion, the Old State Saloon announced “Manly American Monday,” where men who support ICE get a free beer just for walking through the door, and free suds to ladies on Tuesdays who “tattle” to ICE on illegal aliens. Also on Wednesday, heterosexual couples get 10 percent off their bill.

The establishment previously triggered the haters last June with “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month,” a promotion coinciding with “Pride Month,” the national celebration of sodomy, sexual degeneracy, and the grooming of children.

“The way I look at it is they’re kind of disclosing like their wickedness right to us in public and showing us who they are,” he said of the online attacks from the vile left.

Despite the hostility and threats, Fitzpatrick urged critics to drop by the Old State Saloon, telling the outlet that “if any of those liberals actually came in and were willing to talk,” they’d be met by someone who “would sit down with them and talk and listen to what they have to say.”

The owner said that he’s received “overwhelming support” amid the vicious attacks.

“At my saloon when I’m there after a long day of dealing with just wickedness and all the calls and everything else, people are there, and they’re there just to come in and meet me and support me and encourage me,” he told the outlet, adding that the viral promotion is “not really about beers.”

“I think the way it’s working is it’s drawing attention to the issue, and conversations are happening,” Fitzpatrick said.

“The Left is doing everything they can to attack Old State Saloon and disrupt our business. Many are calling for arson and the burning down of our building. We really appreciate your help with the extra security and legal bills, and now a highly coincidental notification of a sales tax audit from the Idaho Tax Commission. See our GiveSendGo to help. God Bless America. Deport them all!” the bar states on its website.
