Fidel Castro-sympathizing Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) was booted out of a House committee hearing that she crashed in an attention-seeking stunt to defend the Biden regime’s lenient policies on Cuba.
Lee, who is one of the most extreme left-wing members of Congress, tried to disrupt the Western Hemisphere Subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Thursday and was given the boot by Rep. María Elvira Salazar (R-Fla.) who chairs the committee and wasn’t about to allow the Democrat to spread her “communist propaganda” as a non-member.
“Today, I exercised my authority as Subcommittee Chairwoman to not allow an off-Committee Member to spread communist propaganda during my Cuba hearing,” Salazar wrote on X. “Members are not entitled to join any Committee proceedings without full consent of the Committee Members.”

“Barbara Lee tried to disrupt an important discussion about the Biden Administration’s lenient policies toward the Cuban regime,” she added. “Barbara Lee is a communist sympathizer who was a personal friend to Fidel Castro, has visited Cuba 21 times, and has been a mouthpiece for the Cuban Regime since 1977.”

“Letting someone as radical as Barbara Lee degrade a hearing on Cuban freedom would insult the Cuban exile community in Miami and amplify regime propaganda,” Salazar said.

The California drama queen also took to the platform formerly known as Twitter to cry that she was being persecuted over her political views.
“I was just kicked out of a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee hearing on Cuba policy because the Republican Chair didn’t like my views,” Lee wrote, sharing a video clip. “I’d share the livestream, but Republicans cut out the sound when I stood up to defend myself & call them out.”

In addition to playing the victim, Lee also played the race card, running to CNN and its sympathetic viewers with her claim that she was allegedly confronted while walking to the Capitol by an unidentified white man who tried to stop her from using one of the elevators.
Rep. Barbara Lee: “I was walking to the Capitol and a man stopped me, a white guy, and told me I could not get into the members’ elevator…He told me it was for members only. I said, ‘Sir, I’m a member of Congress’ and showed him my pin. And he said, ‘Whose pin did you steal?'” pic.twitter.com/RGhOpfTMjM

The Castro-loving congresswoman didn’t share a video of the alleged encounter so there doesn’t seem to be any proof that it actually happened.
“While there are many disagreements between our countries, President Castro was a recognized world leader who was dedicated to the Cuban people,” Lee said in a statement after the monstrous communist dictator died in 2016, a sad moment for many Democrats.
“It is my hope that we continue to build on President Obama’s efforts to end the failed embargo, lift the travel ban and normalize relations between our two countries,” she added.
Lee is competing for the U.S. Senate seat long held by San Francisco Democratic party icon Dianne Feinstein who passed away last year.
