Biden baffles when he starts talking ‘what happened on July 6’

July 6, 2021.

It’s a date that will live in no one’s mind but President Joe Biden’s and those who wish to mock him back into the basement.

In a surreal scene that put the “gas” in “gaslighting,” Biden bestowed upon law enforcement officers and election officials who were wrapped up in the events at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the second-highest civilian award in the United States — the Presidential Citizens Medal — on Friday, saying that “history will remember” their names.

Unfortunately, the president couldn’t remember the month during which we are told Democracy nearly died.

“If I can halt for a second and just say to you the impact what happened on July 6 had international repercussions beyond what I think any of you can fully understand,” Biden said.

Jocelyn Benson, Secretary of State of Michigan, and Rusty Bowers, Arizona Secretary of State during the 2020 election, were honored for performing “exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens,” as were Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman, who “diverted rioters away from senators”; then-Metropolitan Police Department officer Michael Fanone; and Brian Sicknick, whose death has repeatedly been lied about by everyone from President Biden to the liberal press.

Sicknick, the Capitol Police acknowledged, “died of natural causes,” yet Fox News reports the Capitol Police as saying he “passed away due to injuries sustained while on-duty” and “was injured while physically engaging with protestors.”

“You held the line that day and what was on the line was our democracy,” Biden said during the ceremony. “And history will remember your names and remember your courage. But remember your bravery. Remember your extraordinary commitments to your fellow Americans. It’s not hyperbole. That’s a fact. That’s a fact.”

“It’s not exaggeration to say America owes you, owes you all. I really mean this. A debt, a debt of gratitude, one we can never fully repay unless we live up to what you did live up to,” he stated.

He may not be able to get the details right, but President Biden nailed the Democrats’ oft-repeated narrative, claiming “our democracy” was nearly destroyed by a “violent mob of insurrectionists.”

“Our democracy was attacked,” he insisted.

“There’s no other way of saying it,” he continued. “The U.S. Capitol was breached, which had never happened before in the history of the United States of America, even during the Civil War. A violent mob of insurrectionists assaulted law enforcement, vandalized sacred halls, hunted down elected officials, all for the purpose of attempt to overthrow the will of the people and usurp the peaceful transfer of power.”

Online, Twitter users couldn’t get past the “July 6” remark.

“Tell me again how he’s not senile!!” one user tweeted.

“Not the only lie he told today,” noted a second.

“I remember what happened on July 6th. That was the fateful day I married my X-wife. And President Biden remembered,” joked a third. “How sweet of him.”
