Biden challenged by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for 2024; reports say Bannon encouraged him as a disrupter

President Joe Biden has yet to announce that he’s running for reelection in 2024 formally but when he does, he will face a challenge from the scion of one of his party’s most famous families.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the son of slain presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of murdered President John F. Kennedy, submitted paperwork to federal election authorities, ending speculation that he would take on Biden by doing it, something that others in the left-wing party have been reluctant to do.

On Wednesday, RFK Jr. filed a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission, joining self-help guru Marianne Williamson who is also running in opposition to the deeply unpopular Biden who has faced grumbling from within the ranks of the party from those who want a fresh face at the top.

Last month, Kennedy posted a message to his followers on Twitter soliciting support for the prospective White House run that was denied to his famous father by an assassin’s bullet.

“If it looks like I can raise the money and mobilize enough people to win, I’ll jump in the race. If I run, my top priority will be to end the corrupt merger between state and corporate power that has ruined our economy, shattered the middle class, polluted our landscapes and waters, poisoned our children, and robbed us of our values and freedoms. Together we can restore America’s democracy,” Kennedy wrote.

The contrast between the two Democrats couldn’t be clearer, especially in terms of vaccines and COVID authoritarianism with Kennedy expressing skepticism about the efforts to mass vaccinate the American public while Biden put the bully into the bully pulpit with his despicable attacks on those who chose to make their own personal health decisions and his unprecedented employer vax mandate which the Supreme Court blocked.

The entry of RFK Jr. into the fray must be a conspiracy according to Biden’s allies, including CBS News’ Robert Costa who sees a hidden hand behind his candidacy.

“Per several people familiar, Steve Bannon had been encouraging this for months and believes RFK Jr. could be both a useful chaos agent in 2024 race and a big name who could help stoke anti-vax sentiment around the country…,” Costa tweeted on Wednesday, suggesting that Bannon, a man who leftists see as an evil mastermind, is secretly manipulating Kennedy’s candidacy to hobble Biden and undermine confidence in the jabs.

The leftist smear machine has already roared into action with CNN’s Jake Tapper, one of the Democratic Party’s loyal water carriers in the media, labeling Kennedy as a “quack” for daring to ask questions about the vaccines, a big no-no in Biden’s twisted version of America.

Biden’s footsoldiers in the press will define RFK Jr. as an unhinged conspiracy theorist, a tiresome but effective pejorative used to discredit legitimate critics of the rushed vaccines that continue to be pushed by the administration and the media despite public reluctance to roll up their sleeves and fall in line for an endless series of boosters.

Kennedy heads up the Children’s Health Defense. While the character assassins are already portraying the organization’s website The Defender as a clearinghouse for anti-vax conspiracies, those who would take the time to look at it would find detailed analysis and information on a number of major issues that don’t merit attention from the mainstream media including corporate corruption, the environment, the food supply, and Big Tech censorship.

While he has little chance of displacing the geriatric career politician as the Democratic party’s 2024 nominee, Kennedy could cause a stir by asking serious questions and drawing attention to matters that the establishment would prefer to go unnoticed.
