The woman tapped to head President Joe Biden’s new Orwellian “Disinformation Governance Board” has sparked backlash because of her own history as well as a cringeworthy TikTok video of her singing.
Nina Jankowicz ignited a social media meltdown when a video surfaced of her singing about misinformation in a tune based on the Mary Poppins song, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”
Not only did Biden’s new appointment and the Big Brother-like board come under immediate fire, Jankowicz and her over-the-top song set off a fresh wave of mockery, with Fox News host Greg Gutfeld declaring that “my ears want to commit suicide” after listening.
“Information laundering is really quite ferocious. It’s when a huckster takes some lies and makes them sound precocious, by saying them in Congress or a mainstream outlet, so disinformation’s origins are slightly less atrocious,” Jankowicz sang in the video from 2021 that resurfaced after she was named to the Homeland Security position.

On Friday’s “The Five,” the Fox News panel ripped Jankowicz, who has had her own history of disinformation, as Jeanine Pirro jokingly asked co-host Greg Gutfeld if the new appointee is maybe related to parody king, Weird Al Yankovic.
“Close, but no cigar,” Gutfeld replied.
“First of all. I believe America has a class-action suit against Fox for playing that – because my ears want to commit suicide. I don’t know what kind of damage, PTSD, I got from listening to that but it’s there.”

He went on to compare how the newly-created Disinformation Governance Board, the “DGB” sounded like the old Soviet Union security agency, the KGB.
“That’s what it is, it’s the thought police,” Gutfeld said. “This is a person who, doesn’t say mom, she says birth person. She also says Twitter for cis-normative white males. She’s a woke-bot. She’s the very worst person you give any authority to because she somebody abuse it because she belongs to this Orwellian ideological band, you got to be — you always have to be wary of these people.”
