President Joe Biden finally acknowledged his seventh grandchild, albeit in a “summer Friday night news dump” coming as he left the White House for yet another extended vacation, slinking off for a 10-day stay at his Delaware beach home.
Biden, who portrays himself as a loving granddad, has been intensely criticized for ghosting four-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, the product of a hookup between his degenerate son Hunter and a former stripper. Criticism has included even normally friendly allies like Maureen Dowd of The New York Times who shamed him for his callous treatment of the young child in a scathing column earlier this month.
The president’s first public remarks acknowledging the child came in a “Friday night news dump” in an exclusive statement provided to People magazine.
“Our son Hunter and Navy’s mother, Lunden, are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward,” Biden said in the statement.
On Friday at 5pm Biden releases a statement to People:
“This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter…Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy.”https://t.co/UnRdywVtdC

“This is not a political issue, it’s a family matter,” he added. “Jill and I only want what is best for all of our grandchildren, including Navy.”
The president’s statement comes weeks after Hunter Biden settled a court battle with Lunden Roberts, the mother of his love child, and was completely unexpected, drawing barbs from Twitter users who blasted Biden for the long overdue acknowledgment of the little girl in such a cowardly manner.
Joe and Jill Biden’s rejection of their granddaughter for four years, while refusing to tell Hunter to grow up and take responsibility for his daughter, and now issuing an acknowledgment in People Magazine to get good PR says so much about who they are. Absolutely disgusting.

This isn’t because either Biden cares at all about Navy Joan.
This is because Biden’s poll numbers suck, his corruption scandals are exploding, and he can no longer afford the political damage of disowning his own blood.
And everyone know it. https://t.co/Y85iYN7ijE

This was becoming a storyline the White House could no longer ignore https://t.co/Gx5cKHn8uc

Imagine being acknowledged as a grandchild only because polling against was so bad. https://t.co/qtK87VJwGW

Very big of Joe to announce in a written statement on Friday evening that he will finally stop publicly disowning his granddaughter

Biden’s statement comes as the embattled leader is facing the possibility of an impeachment inquiry over a foreign bribery scandal, adding to the troubles of the embattled Democrat who is engulfed by scandal as he seeks to make his case to the American people that he deserves another four years.
Fox News host Jesse Watters summed up the cynical nature of the Friday news dump release of Biden’s statement about poor little Navy Joan.
(Video: Fox News)
“In a week where Hunter’s plea deal exposes the family’s corruption and when Republicans float an impeachment inquiry and we find out about offshore bank accounts, the White House places a written statement with a tabloid at 5 o’clock on a summer Friday,” he said. “With the cocaine scandal, the bribery scandal, the callousness of ignoring your own flesh and blood. Joe Biden’s family man, middle-class brand is in tatters, and a PR stunt at this point, not going to cut it.”
The timing of the statement ensures that Biden won’t have to answer questions from reporters and the story will be long forgotten by the time that he returns to D.C.
