Biden gets to swanky vacation destination right on time as thousands still reeling from airline issues

The Christmas season was plagued with weather issues and airline delays/cancellations, but it would seem that neither of those problems prevented President Joe Biden from launching his end-of-year vacation to St. Croix.

While Biden enjoys yet another break from his job, Americans are coming down hard on his administration for seemingly being AWOL. They’ve specifically aimed their rage at Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who also is accused of going on vacation every time a crisis strikes.

Fox News’ Rachel Campos-Duffy ripped Buttigieg to shreds for his “incompetence” in dealing with large-scale issues like the shutdowns of airports, highways, and the less recent railroad strike.

“He sounds more like a travel agent than the Secretary of Transportation,” she said after running a clip of Buttigieg barely addressing the situation. “We don’t want to delay our flights. We want to see our families on Christmas, Pete. The 25th still means something to us. It’s Jesus’s birthday. We celebrate by being with our families and going to church,” the Fox News host said. “But that never mattered to Pete. Remember last year? Supply chains were a complete mess, many families were worried they wouldn’t be able to get Christmas gifts. Pete Buttigieg told everyone they’re on their own.”

As the days wear on and Americans see more cancellations, many are left wondering exactly who is in charge here?

While the solutions may not come quickly – everyone has to get back from their vacations first – at least there are some people who can make light of the situation.
